RRR (Rise Roar Revolt) (2022)
Horrible and Ridiculous
One of the worst movie I had seen. Shame on those directors who still make such horrible movie in 21st Century..
Its starts ok, But, then turns ridiculous, Especially the "Desi Nach" dance against Britishers. What was that?? Director is confused, If he is making a serious movie of a Indian revolting against British, OR he is making a comedy movie !! Last 40 mins of the movie is just over the top.. Nonsensical..
Fan (2016)
Not the big Fan
A copy of Original Hollywood movie by same name "The Fan".. But original movie with stars like Robert De Niro & Westley Snipes was far more perfect & real.
This movie is so awful with its basics.. A Fan (But also look alike ??), a small time cybercafe owner, goes on rampage from India to London & Croatia to destroy the career of his Idol..It doesn't fit the profile of the "duplicate" Fan from Indian perspective.. Maybe Shahrukh Khan wants to tell something about his own career through this movie, but ended in terrible way.
It was not needed at all to choose movie locations in Europe, (Why all Bollywood actors/ directors choose location outside India, when it is not necessary at all, is way beyond my understanding) where average small time Indians can even find it hard to get a visa to go there, this cybercafe owner & "Fan" conspires the downfall of his Idol in London & Dubrovnik.
Shahrukh khan needs to improve his movies to suit the intelligent people of this world.
Dhoom:3 (2013)
Meaningless action on very loose storyline
Bollywood movies might be able to impress Indian audience with its glittering action and special effects, But still need to go miles to make a movie that stick to basic storyline. Uday Chopra's comedy looks very cheap and totally unfunny. Its just waste of time. Katrina Kaif could have been given more meaningful role, but she is wasted in just dances. Her little bit of introduction at beginning doesn't add to basic storyline, and thats why it was not required.
Only Aamir Khan has to be given credit for his natural acting talent. He alone had managed to take this film to a good level. Abhishek Bachchan is a great actor, but in this movie, He is merely an audience while Aamir is all over the show. He looks just like a normal cop, not a lead actor for Dhoom series. Overall, its better to have a movie that stick to its storyline, without wasting time around silly comedies, or unnecessary lengthy background stories.
Phoonk (2008)
Worst movie ever. ...totally disappointing !!!!
I saw this movie and it seems completely absurd. Some concept taken from Hollywood movie exorcist, while main concept being a girl is under spell of black magic. And finally at the end of movie, Indian black magic women becomes some mutant from Hollywood movie X-men, throwing peoples in air by powers of her hand. This whole concept appears to be ridiculously crazy. To any horror movie fans, an advice, just completely avoid this movie.
Even in this modern age, renowned directors like this one makes movies that what we all consider superstitious and that only old and illiterate peoples in India believe. To make it worse, this movie gives justification in stupid way as to why we should believe in "Kaala Jadu" Black Magic. Although, I believe Black magic in scientific way, but this doesn't means all the rubbish beliefs among illiterates have some basis. In one shot the main actor is talking to a guy who cures peoples suffering from possession, He tell him "I don't believe in God" to which that guy gives a weird explanation as to why we should believe in black magic. He starts by telling him if he takes some medicine for headache, why does he believe in that headache pill. For this question our main actor has no answer. I was in complete disbelief while watching this as to how low this movie can go down further.
Hancock (2008)
A movie too dull as sci-fi movie...good CGI effects though !!!
After watching this movie, I came to conclusion that some movies needs no story or plot if they have sufficient CGI effects. But even if I watched this movie just for CGI effects, it still turns out to be ridiculously boring, because all a movie need some sort of story or plot which is missing here. As viewing this movie as movie based only on CGI effects, it certainly gets some credits.
But as I said, every movie needs a good story and climax or twist to keep audience bind to it. This movie lacks both of them. If you watch this movie without use of brain just for special effects, you would enjoy it. If you like Angelina Jolie's movie "Wanted", I'm sure then this movie is for you.
