Snowfall (2017–2023)

Lost for words... Snowfall 1-6 review

Without a shadow of a doubt, the best series I've ever watched I'll be so real. I don't even know where to start.

From the get go snowfall opens with a compelling story with so many motives from each of the main characters. We had so many cool dynamics throughout & the story telling of this show never failed & went the extra mile. Each performance was phenomenal, especially Damson who plays Franklin. He truly goes through each stage of grief in the final season & I felt the tension rising between the original group season by season until every thing eventually falls apart. Franklins obsession with money is acted scarcely accurate the final season shows that with its awesome filming style showing them emotions of regret, anger, denial, fear, obsession & so many more. This isn't even taking away from everyone else in the cast cause they were exceptionally great.

The ending was satisfying but not at the same time. To make a masterpiece in television you must execute the ending very well & this did exactly that & that's not to say I'm happy with the ending cause give Franklin his God damn money back but damn was it written so well.

The ending of snowfall fully had me sitting there questioning everything. Uno when it's so sad you just sit there & observe, that was exactly that. Snowfall was a masterpiece of a series. Hats off to everyone that made this show happen. Rest in peace John.

One Day (2024)

My girl was sobbing... One Day review

A mini series with a story so beautiful yet so heart breaking. I was forced to watch one day with my Mrs & I can gladly say, I'm happy to have sat through it all.

I got the memo from the get go but something had to happen that's caused so many people including my girlfriend to absolutely sob & although I wasn't apart of that group, it was sad as hell I'll be so real.

The authenticity when each emotion was shown was amazing to watch & it truly felt as though the leading roles weren't acting at times. It felt so raw & one of the best aspects of the show was how unique it was. Instead of doing some massive time jump it would be the same day every year & I thought that made the series feel even more cool & unique.

The only downfall of this series was how Emma died. I'm not being funny but how tf did she die from that & why was it so anticlimactic but none the less it was a great forced watch & suggestion from my girl.

Dune: Part Two (2024)

Masterpiece of movie making. Dune Pt2 review

I'll be so real, I didn't know what to expect coming into Dune Pt2 but any expectation I had was exceeded. I'm ngl Dune Pt2 will easily go down as one of the greatest sci-fi movies of all time & I ain't even just saying that.

From the get go, I was immediately drawn to the story as it picked up where it left off. Paul's arc from the moment he stepped on screen to how he evolved throughout was insane to watch on the big screen. Not to mention his performance. Timothee Chalamet as Paul Atreides has gotta be up there with one of the best performances in all of sci-fi as a whole. The cinematography of Dune Pt2 with the budget it had is absolutely insane to me & I can gladly say I got to witness it first hand in theatres. Each & every cast member did an extraordinary job & the stand out was most definitely Austin Butler as Feyd-Rautha. The movies score had me levitating in my seat type shi.

Dune Pt2 will easily be up there in the contenders for movie of the year & can be argued to be the greatest sci-fi movie of all time.

Dune (2021)

Wow... Dune Pt1 review

I really didn't know what to expect from Dune cause I haven't read any of the source material or watched the original & I didn't really pay much attention to it when it first released in cinemas back in 2021. None the less I decided to watch it finally cause Pt2 is releasing soon.

Ima just start off by saying, wow... This story feels so unique & something I haven't really seen before yet I have but this does it so much better. The cinematography is definitely the stand out cause why is this movie so beautiful? The cast is absolutely stacked which makes it a no brainer to watch & with having such a stacked cast, we got so many brilliant performances. The fight scenes were insane & felt fresh instead of the basic fight scenes we usually get in cinema today & from the get go I didn't feel boring whatsoever, I was most definitely drawn to the story straight away which I didn't expect to happen cause it is quite a long movie.

I was somewhat confused to begin with, with all these new characters I'm not familiar with & just where the story was going but soon enough I realised & it made me so invested. Although I'm rating this a 10/10 which I do believe it is, it's only one part to the story which is making me even more gassed for Friday when I go see it in theatres. I fw this movie a lot & you should too.

House of the Dragon (2022– )

House of the dragon season 1 review

For me this is on par with game of thrones or in other words on the same level as 1 or 2 seasons of it. Meaning in my book, it's close to a 10/10 but for me is a 9.5/10 cause I feel as if the start was a bit slow but that does not mean it did not exceed expectations after a few episodes. The story was very well written & it's definitely one of the strongest spin off shows of any recent universe/series. The ending got me gassed for the new season & makes me wonder what we'll get in the future in the game of thrones universe. The acting was phenomenal & each character just like game of thrones, although some were annoying as hell, they were great characters. The time jumps weren't even confusing either. Seeing more & more dragons was cool asf too, can't wait for season 2. I fw this show heavy I'll be so real.

Stranger Things (2016–2025)

Stranger things 1-4 review

Arguably one of the best series of all time & I don't wanna hear it from nobody. From the get go, we got a unique story with a bunch of insanely likeable characters that are written so well. Apart from the one singular episode in season 2 that didn't really contribute anything to the story, this series is easily a 10/10. That one episode does not take away from the other 33. If the directors do season 5 right & go out with a bang this will definitely be up there with the all time greats. Stranger things not only has an amazing soundtrack but brings so much nostalgia with every video I see & every rewatch it gets. Each season has a different style to it & different things at stake & the story carries out so well.

My love for this show is crazy. I fw it too much.

Game of Thrones (2011–2019)

A song of ice & fire - Game of thrones 1-8 review

Despite what literally every other person says about this series, being left with a sour taste due to the ending, I loved almost every second of it, except the way they ended it but that does not take away from the other 72-73 episodes. Each season is left with a perfect conclusions & the story telling from the get go felt so well put together. Not to mention almost every single character even the ones I didn't particularly like, they were all so well written even the ones you hated. The whole point of the show being the "song of ice & fire" had me so gassed for a face off between the night king & the prince that was promised yet they decided to have them bog at each other every chance they had & it lead to nothing which was very disappointing. Every one knows the ending & what we all think so I don't need to explain but I fw this series so much. 73/74 episodes were almost perfect so it'd be dumb to give it a very low ranking so for me due to the ending, it plays a massive role in the shows success & for that ima give it a 9/10.
