I enjoyed the movie for the sheer fact of watching all my favorite characters killed off. however, when it comes to depth, i think the original series ending does the show far more justice. This ending is almost a joke when you look at it critically. it was just made to appease the minds of shallow people who were totally confused by the original ending to the series. i would reccomend that you go see this movie, but watch the REAL ending to the show first.

This movie is the greatest piece of absurdist cinema ever. Watching is like an intellectual acid trip through the darkest recesses of your brain. The characters are memorable, the dialogue is unforgettable, the scenery is unbelievable, and the whole is greater than even the sum of all these parts. Best line: "Juice me, baby, I'm a shiver junkie." Best character: the cannibalistic pedophile who is addicted to being electrocuted. Best scene: the surrealistic sex scene between the nymphomaniac and the doll-headed man.

good, but not fincher's best

This movie was worth my time and i plan on seeing it again. I think Fincher's superb ideas in directing are once again shown in this movie. However, i think the script somewhat lacks the power of the other movies he has directed (ie. Fight Club, Se7en, The Game, and Alien 3). While I definately would recommend this movie to anyone, i would also warn them that this is the worst film he has directed so far.
