Each to their own, but do yourself a favour and watch a film without reading the critiques

This film is nothing short of spectacular on every level. Yes the plot could have been more complex, but why bother?

It's a similar vein to Blomkamp's 'District 19' but also completely different.

The battle scenes alone are fresh, exciting and the work of an unrestrained visionary.

I didn't even want to start on Madeleine Yuna Voyles, but what a child actor and she gives this film an extra boost.

It is a cinematic masterpiece that demanded the acting of Watanbe and Washington and the characterisation is fine considering it has a run time of 135 minutes.

I'm absolutely sure awards will fall into Gareth Edward's lap and I look forward to his next venture.

Do yourself a favour and find a night to watch this ignoring everything you've read.

Absolutely fantastic. Read on

This show is probably one of the greatest I have seen. I'd lost faith in Sheridan after the yellowstone debacle. But credit where it's due.

The screenplay, characterisation, the drama, the action are all subpar. I spent the duration of 8 episodes on the edge of my seat.

This has elements of of Mamet's "the unit" and from the first series, as much as it pains me to say, is actually superior.

Unless you're an inferior man who cannot contemplate a woman doing anything other than whatever it is your small mind dictates, you are gonna love this show. And you will binge it.

Kudos cast and crew, you have achieved something special and televised something incredible.

Don't read, just watch

I've loved the character since the first series of 'Missing'. I'd only just latched onto 'Baptiste' in the last few months. I read the reviews and wish I hadn't. Each to his own I guess. But the first series was brilliant, had me on the edge of my seat and I adored every episode. I literally binged it.

Season 2 was even stronger, it is absolutely spectacular with powerhouse performances. I hope Karyo has one last hoorah as this genius. No loss if he doesn't, but he is sublime in this role.

Whatever you read about season 2, watch it for you, and make your own mind up. You will not be disappointed.
