Moving Performance- A Classic
16 March 2005
This movie has a lot of soul to it- shows a young man's journey as He tries to work conscientiously in the Senate, only to be faced with forces that tried with everything to break him.

This movie brings a lot of reality with it showing to some extent how the world has gotten itself to where it is today ( power manoeuvring, deception, hidden agendas in high places). However the ending plays out to show that there may be Hope afterall. This movies really delivers,James Stewart is such a Brilliant actor-combining with Jean Arthur is so convincing.

Highly recommended.

Breath taking is the Word

This is a movie or would I aptly say a tale about EL I EF E(I mean LIFE). It has got it all- relationships, family, betrayal, trust, greed, faith, bravery and of course LOVE. It takes us on a journey of one man's life(a Good man I might add) from his birth to death and the events that shaped his situation all the way.

I do recognise that it may not appeal to some movie lovers, however I think

if it is given a chance at least for the first 20mins, u gonna get glued to the edge of your seats. Funny enough I saw it as a consolation for missing an action movie at the cinema, and I am Grateful to have watched it. U really cannot guess what the next scene would be all about unlike so many movies that are churned out- I was proved wrong on about all my predictions of what I thought the next scene would be based on mi experience.

It is a Fine Movie- it brings out so many Lessons which I think are useful as one moves on in life......

A Wonderful movie
6 June 2003
This is such a wonderful movie that really evokes your sense of humanity. A touching tale about the relationship between two brothers while on a summer camp, set out in the 1930's era. A film that really comes out as somewhat 'real' and heart-warming. I was fortunate to watch this movie on the Hallmark channel in 2000, but didn't quite get the name until this day after a long search-it is a must-keep which really brings to mind the essence of family and life I think in general. Brilliant performances from the cast. The budding relationship between the younger brother and the much older lady camp owner really had a sense of originality and realness. I strongly recommend this film to all those who are interested in films that remind us of the adversities that we are all prone to and the determination of the human spirit to overcome these.

A Fine tale

This is a film for those of us who take a lot of interest in world history particularly in the politics that transpired between England and her surrounding islands. The battle scenes do not come close to the ones in such flicks like "Braveheart", but beyond that the whole production shows the power of the human spirit(the Wallace clan) in challenging the might of the oppressors(the English)

Blown Away (1994)
A Must watch
17 March 2002
This movie got me all wired up. Tommy Lee Jones was just amazing-he etched himself forever in my film memory when he performed his dancing steps. I kept on renting the film over and over till the film began to go fuzzy. I'm looking to get an original version for myself for keeps. I do believe the film deserved more credit than it got.
