Atlas (2024)

Great movie

I've always loved sci-fi movies and this one rates highly in my eyes. It is quite funny to me when people state that Jlo was a surprisingly good actress here because she has and will always be a really good acress. Her personal lofe has nothing to do with it.

I found myself engrossed and unable to speak even though I was watching it with others until the movie ended. There were several times I thought all hope was gone but a surprising twist was always waiting in the corner.

Say whatever you want about Jlo but every movie she has starred in has been a heavy hitter. My personal favourite is the movie Enough.

Fantastic thriller!

I first watched this movie when I was a teenager. It evoked so many emotions and years later i've never forgotten it. A lot of women, find themselves in this situation,ok not just women cause men suffer too. While i'm not one to champion for violence, it was completely warranted. I wish there were better laws and policies to protect victims of domestic violence because the other ending of the story keeps repeating itself. It's definitely my favourite Jennifer Lopez movie. For the flack that she gets for not being such a gteat singer, she's an absolutely superb actress. I love to go back and watch it again avery now and then.

40 Sticks (2020)

Not too bad, could do better.

Kenyans have made a real effort here, it's nice to see our stuff out there in the world. I'm sure that our main issue is a lack of budget and good training. I was able to make it to the end of the movie which doesn't happen with most netflix movies for me. I mean some things made no sense but we'll just let it slide for now as Kenya continues doing better for itself. I don't even watch any horror movies and this one didn't make me squirm(which is actually a good thing for me.) We still have a long way to go and I hope that we make it there to sell our talent to the world. We have great actors here. Otherwise it was a good effort.
