Definitely Worth the Wait
30 October 2004
When I was a child, my parents would read The Polar Express for my brother and I (and later my sister) on Christmas Eve. It was a magical story, and it'll stick with me for years.

So in 1999, when I read about a CGI Polar Express movie,I was psyched and couldn't wait for it. For 6 years I'd waited for signs of it coming, feasting on all the rumors and information that came out about it.

Today, thanks to my school, I went to see and advanced screening of the film with my family.. It was worth the wait.

The film retained the magic of the book while still adding enough original elements to make it a feature film. I give this movie 5 stars, 2 thumbs up, 10/10, whatever rating system you use.

If you're a fan of the book, or a Christmas lover, then I highly recommend this film. If your looking for a good family film, I still recommend it.

In fact, I'm waiting for the release date so I can see it again. *****

I loved this movie.
5 January 2003
I don't know what people found wrong with this film. When I first saw the trailer, I didn't think much of it, but then I saw the DVD of it, and I loved it.

The music was good, and the story made sense (for a movie with talking bears) and considering it's based on a Disney Attractions that's been there since the beginning of Disney (or close) it's suprisingly fresh. Certain parts of the plot remind me of Blues Brothers (One of my Fav. movies) And that just added to it.

Don't listen to the people that bash this movie. Go see it and make ur own choice on it's worth.

Warning: Spoilers
This has to be Dana Carvey's best work since Wayne's World.

My brother and I have just seen it and we were cracking up at every turn. Each of his disguises(especially the Turtle, Terry Suave and Quinn from Jaws)

For those of you who listened to the other reviews, here the truth: (Spoilers Ahead)

Dana Carvey plays Pistachio, the son of a restaurant owner. What He doesn't know, is that his father is a Master of Disguise. One day, an old enemy that his father p****d off kidnaps his parents, Pistachio must try to save them.

His Grandfather arrives and teaches him his heritage as a Master of Disguise, and teams him with an assistant named Jennifer. The two track down the villain, while Pistachio uses a variety of disguises to save the day.

So take it from someone that's seen a lot of comedies. If you like movies like Wayne's World, you'll love this movie

The Greatest X-mas Special ever!
23 June 2002
Every year without fail I sit down to watch my six favorite X-mas shows with my family.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (The ORIGINAL) Frosty the Snowman Winnie the Pooh and Christmas Too A Garfield Christmas (Always a Classic) A Charlie Brown Christmas (Also a classic) and the Grinch.

Not the live-Action one, the original cartoon version. No matter how old you our, it's hard not to enjoy the Grinch for what it is: A nice Christmas Story that doesn't hide anything.

If you've never seen it, see it. If you have, see it again!

Spider-Man (2002)
THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST SUPERHERO FILMS TO DATE!
3 May 2002
Warning: Spoilers
I went into this movie expecting a good Superhero movie, like Batman or Superman.

What I got, was one of the GREATEST Super Hero films I've ever seen. The casting couldn't have been better, and the acting was excellent. Director Sam Raimi did a great job with a script that not only has the right amount of action, but also the perfect amount of character development. You get a feel for these characters

(Spoiler Ahead)

When Peter's Uncle Ben dies, you feel bad, even though you've only seen this character once or twice. When the Norman Osborn is killed, you feel for him, even though he is the villain (A great villain). And when Peter is being mocked by the other students, you really want Peter to attack them.

All in All I give this film *****/***** Five out of Five

Could have been SO MUCH BETTER!!!!
20 March 2002
I loved Power Rangers (Only the first 3 seasons, then It went to s***) But this movie was crap. The suits were metallic, unlike the ones on TV, the Rangers used weapons and abilities they never had (but could have used) on TV, and the Command Chamber and Moon palace where nothing like the show. And what was with the Pig?? Somebody tell me!! Save your money. Rent something like Indiana Jones, Star Wars, or Batman.

Willow (1988)
A great movie for all Ages!
20 March 2002
This has to be one of the best fantasy style films I have ever seen (Lord of the Rings is the Best, and Harry Potter is below last- I hate those books)

I rented Willow on DVD, thinking it would be a nothing movie for a rainy afternoon.

I was very Wrong.

Willow is a great movie, with magic, warriors, dragons and demons, and it even has a very good story too.

If you're looking for a nothing movie for a Sunday afternoon, Rent Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 (Don't spend a lot on it)

If you're looking for an excellent adventure film, Rent Willow

THIS FILM ROCKS!!!
15 February 2002
My parents taped this off TV after it came out and I watch it whenever I can!

The best of the series, dark (like Batman 1) and that darkness makes it good!

Second one is ok, and the third one just plain sucked (bad costumes and voices)

If you see any TMNT movie see this one it's worth your time!
