Who else was investigated?
27 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Law enforcement and the DA had made up three minds even before Theresa's remains and her car were found. What about the ex-boyfriend? The roommate? Other clients? The brother?

What's with the brother?
24 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I can't help thinking the brother is the killer: he's so dead set on having Steven and Brendan be guilty when all the evidence seems to show their non-involvement. Can't wair to see how this ends.

Very character/driven

The callings, the biology, and the intrigue all combine to make a great show. Even more, though, are the complex intertwined relationships. I especially love the nuanced Ben and Grace relationship.

Not "Laura" in space.

Warning: Spoilers
No Gene Tierney, no Clifton Webb, no Dana Andrews😢. Just Geordi being creepy. Maybe if it had been plotted as a noir, in flashbacks, it might have worked, The poorest contributors Union to Season 6.

Irritating and lazy
14 August 2019
Warning: Spoilers
My least favorite plots revolve around Deanna's mom: how can an empathy be so annoying and clueless?

My second least favorite plots involve the holodeck: seems laziness on the part of the writers and producers.

Together, they add up to one of my least favorite TNG episodes.

Gripping, but a bored millennial witch?
7 May 2019
The writing and interplay of characters is great, except for the tired love story between vampire and witch. And could Diana (Teresa Palmer) please show some emotion or interest in her rôle?

Danger, Bad Writing
22 April 2018
Niw watching episode 3. Danger: bad writing, bad acting, unlikeable characters, repeated stupid decision-making by these "intelligent" colonists, and wrong science. Parker Posey playing Parker Posey. And these young actors don't hold a cosmic candle to Billy Mumy or Angela Cartwright. Stay away.

Shannon's Deal (1990–1991)
10/10
My favorite Show
13 June 2007
What a perfect melding of actors, directors, writing, and music! In an era (the turn from the 1980s to th 1990s), Shannon's Deal was ahead of the pack then and now in its quality.

Jamey Sheridan gave us a complex antihero. Elizabeth Pena brought us smarts and sass in a latina character that was not a caricature. Jenny Lewis... Well, jenny Lewis later became a singer.

The closest I can think of are some of the great Howard Hawks films with great characters and overlapping dialog.

I have the pilot and episodes 1-11 on DVDs I burned from my O-L-D video tapes. I cherish these, but the quality is poor. WHEN OH WHEN will this come out on DVD???
