Star Wars: The Bad Batch: Entombed (2023)
Frustrating, but saved by Kevin Kiners Masterclass
After the amazing episode 3, we are confronted with another painfully mediocre story. The idea of the homage to Idiana Jones is cute, though there have been better homages in the Star Wars Universe like the Bounty Hunters Clone Wars Episode. This beeing the second filler in a row and an obvious hint for the next episode to be just as this one, the show doesn't really give me something to be hyped for next week :/ I really enjoy the good episodes in this show but it's making it hard for me to love it because the endless pointless fillers, which put the series below Clone Wars Season 1 Level. I really hope we'll see some good episodes again, for the sake of the series.
Nevertheless I still have to point out the AMAZING score by Kevin Kiner and Co. Really saves the Episode. Would've been a 4/10 without the music but I'll give a 6/10 just for the score.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Cat and Mouse (2010)
Excellent start to Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Chronologically, this is actually the very first episode of Clone Wars, taking part just a few weeks after Attack of the Clones! The episodes main plot is a space battle around the planet Christophsis, where Anakin, Obi-Wan and Admiral Yularen to a very intimidating villian: Admiral Trench. I love the tension and the way Trench acts and commands while the Republic tries desperatly to fight him. Big thumbs up for the music in this episode as well, especially the horns in Trenchs theme are amazing.
Overall an amazing episode, with a good start to the series
9/10.
