Unfortunately too short

I was enjoying episode so much...and then it suddenly ended. What??? I was so surprised when it ended because nothing really happened. It felt like a long episode was cut in half to make two. And not cut well. Idk man, I hope it gets a little bit longer. They sold it as a 30 minute comedy, not 20 minute comedy. Also, it felt really rushed because of that. Other than that, as I said, I really enjoy being in Jan's world. It should be interesting moving forward, just please don't do episodes that are this short. That really bothered me.

House of the Dragon: The Heirs of the Dragon (2022) Season 1, Episode 1

Really strong start

As someone who hasn't seen Game of Thrones, I thought it would be interesting to start with this first. It looked good, so I went with it. And to my surprise it was fantastic. A lot better than I expected. I will gladly be back next week.

Wow! Surprised!

This was honestly one of the best stand alone horror movies I have ever seen. Also, this was one of the stronger stories with in a horror movie. I was on the edge of my seat few times and I didn't know what to expect. I was not surprised by Ethan Hawke's performance, but I was by young actors. Wow. I actually feared for their safety. Especially Finnie's. Bravo! With that said, I wouldn't have feared if this movie hasn't had a great script and directing. Well done to all of the cast and crew. I would also like to add that I really appreciate the brother-sister bond in this movie, that was so sweet and so welcome from me, being a brother myself. I haven't seen young brothers and sisters done this good recently, especially in horror movies.

This isn't just cheap jump scares, this is an actually good, suspenseful horror movie. Highly recommend it!

Mocvara (2020– )

Impressive

I am very impressed with this series. I didn't catch up with the first season, but the second season...wow. Man, what a great mystery. Everything was top notch for Serbian cinematography. Acting was fantastic. I would especially like to give a shout-out to Sanja Kolacaric who knocked it out of the park. Well done, what a wonderful performance! Also, addition in form of Milos Timotijevic and Marko Janketic was awesome. Milos Timotijevic is truly one of the best Serbian actors. That terror in his voice, man! Mystery was developed very well. Pacing could have been better but still they made me care for all of the characters so I didn't mind it.

Senta storyline was, for me, one of the best stuff I have seen from Serbian film. Belgrade storyline however, was kind of a mess, but I won't judge it because, like I said, I haven't paid attention to the first season very much. One thing that I have to add as a con is too much nude and explicit scenes. Like, TOO MUCH! They need to cut some of that for the next season, if there will be one.

All in all, well done.

Moon Knight: The Goldfish Problem (2022) Season 1, Episode 1

Nice start

I really liked this introduction to the character of Steven Grant. I think they nailed it with his characterisation and that he is very relateable character. Oscar Isaac is fantastic and Ethan Hawk is very good, too. I like the little blackouts Steven had and I liked how it was not easy to realize what was real and what was not.

I am excited to see where this goes next. As for the first mcu Disney plus episodes ranking, I think this would go on the second place right behind Loki.

P. S. There was actually a lot more humor than I thought there would be and I didn't mind it, it didn't feel forced, but it also doesn't feel very different from the casual mcu humor.

How I Learned to Fly (2022)

So wholesome

Very sweet movie. On the first hand it's a movie for children, and it is, but also so much more. So many deep thoughts and moving scenes really warm my heart. Kid actors are surprisingly solid and adult ones are truly amazing. Olga killed it with this role, and Snjezana really embodies her character. While he does not have a lot to say, just by watching Zarko Lausevic you understand everything. He is truly one of the, if not the best Serbian actor. I would also mention the book this movie was based on which is also amazing, maybe even better. I mean, book is always better, but this movie is just so sweet that it really is faithful adaptation.

Daredevil: A New Napkin (2018) Season 3, Episode 13

I am impressed

I was not expecting to love this season this much. One of the best pieces of anything comic book related ever. Everything was great. This episode in particular was top notch. Fisk is definitely one of the best marvel villains and he has been dominating this season as a whole as well as this episode. Bullseye was very well realised, too. It's shame we won't get to see more of him. That whole scene in Fisk's apartment was nothing short of incredible. Matt was also a top noch character as the main hero. The show really well balanced the complexity of both our protagonist and antagonist which worked so well.

I am excited for what future holds for Daredevil and Fisk, and hope to perhaps see the rest of the cast return as well. Although I don't believe they will ever be able to top this season.
