Probably the worst Bond film
10 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I keep scratching my head and wonder why on earth did they make a film to please PC woke people who are not the fanbase of Bond films in the first place. No wonder critics have liked this film, but for a typical Bond fan this is utter garbage.

This film is loaded with elements of failure. The only thing missing was an eye wink to the camera and Bond saying "this never happened to the other fellas" before the missile strike hits his sorry ass.

Should have been a mini-series
9 December 2019
Third Frontier is an entertaining little action flick, as long as your expectations are not high. The plot doesn't carry all the way through the film, but there are some moments of excitement along the way. Ben Affleck's star power isn't really fully utilized to the extent I was hoping for.

The ending made me feel that this would have worked better as a 3-4 episode miniseries, where this film would have the first two episodes and then maybe one more to wrap up the events what happened after this film ended. 5/10

Hart's War (2002)
9/10
Good film with interesting characters
3 December 2019
Hart's War is an underrated movie. I found it only later, as it went straight to rental video shelf in my home country after failing at the box office in the States. But it ain't a bad movie, it just isn't your typical war movie where blowing a lot of stuff making a nice trailer and gets teenagers to buy a ticket.

In my opinion the script carried well enough and there were no clear flaws to complain about. This could have been another story if the cast had been different, now the characters and the tension between them kept the movie interesting even in scenes where the script otherwise might have been irrelevant.

Farrell, Willis, Howard and especially Lures all have great acting performances and the director also does a magnificent job. Watched it a second time and I still rate this 9/10.

Poor role modeling for kids
24 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Went to see this with my 4 and 10 year old children. Animation was well executed throughout the film and there were some funny jokes for the adult audience too, but otherwise the script left me really confused. Who is the target audience for this type of content?

There's a long scene where harrassment seems to be okay and 'funny' as long as it's the female who is the aggressive side. Then there's gonna be some bullying and fighting. Then a 'friend' of the main character tries to murder him. Followed by some fighting, followed by a double murder attempt.

I am not an uptight person but I would have appreciated a better story line for my 4 year old to watch, thus only 3/10.

This isn't for old school fans
8 November 2019
Gave 5 stars, but without Linda and Arnold it might have been 2. When the first two Terminator movies made you drool during action scenes and collect oneself during talking scenes, here I got really bored during action and waited only to see more Linda and Arnie.

This is just like any comic based superhero action flick with plenty of noise but very little entertainment for a person with brains.

I am still a fan of the characters but we desperately need the following things if they choose to make any more sequels.
  • James Cameron to direct
  • storyline based on early stage era when terminators were still machines and not some liquid crap that moves all over the place

Perfect date movie
5 October 2019
This is a movie with many layers in it. If this film doesn't move your heart, the fault is in your heart - it might be black.

The first hour leaves a taste to your mouth, one that makes you wish you had taken a bottle of Listerine with you instead of Coke. But luckily this is rinsed off with gallons of blood in the final moments of the film.

Happy end <3
