Fire in the Sky (1993)

Good sci-fi horror movie

The entertainment value was great but this is just another abduction movie where nobody notices that the gravity and Oxygen level are exactly the same as on Earth , and yet once again not one tangible piece of evidence .

I can tell you this for a fact, if these bulb-head grays hovered overhead in their ship they would quickly find me pumping buckshot into the ship so the pieces can be looked at later .

Even those Black Helicopters that the Government claims don't exist

could be shot at because if they're not there then how could you be charged for shooting one down .

Night Skies is the 2007 version of the Walton abduction and the Dodge pick-up is replaced by a Ford pick-up and the 5 lumberjacks are now 3 hot babes to 2 beefcake young men .

Still waiting for the humor portions

The show using bigotry and racism to show how there isn't bigotry and racism , Muslims are painted as the enlightened one send to Canada to rescue the narrow minded White Islamophobes that worship a false God and are apostates under Sharia law that should be killed for Allah.

The dialog is read with such a monotone voice and void of any emotion that you can't figure out exactly where the joke is , plus even if you get the joke it is delivered in a bland way that doesn't induce laughter.

People expect the LMOTP will be axed very soon because the ratings

were fudged and now the real viewing numbers are about 1/4 of the first debut.

The Life of David Gale (2003)

Assisted suicide

The whole movie could have been reduced to about 15 minutes , and the last portion of the movie makes it clear the Gale played the public and Governemnt for fools.

Gale used the State to help commit suicide and it was all legal because it was done in the guise of Capital punishment , Gale knew exactly how much information to mete out that appeared as evidence to track down the truth that would halt the execution.

The real issue was State assisted suicide and Gale twisted and bend the system to play his followers for fools because he warned his students about allowing others to think for you and how that can take away your unbiased view to find the truth.

One of the funniest new comedies in Canada

There are so many episodes that make me howl over the stories

that I wish I could pick the best ones , Rocko and Bill make for a strange pair that are beyond help but manage to play the victim and BS their way out of hard time just to drag Dan into their life of crime .

Canadians will notice the odd joke for Toronto or the Federal Government, and because the CBC axed a really good show by the Frantics that Dan was part of , the show takes shots at them and in the episode "Dan's Umbrella" the CBC is raked across the coals .

When Dan says that the CBC would never waste taxpayers money on useless venture , Rocko enters the room and gives Dan back his Tape of Friday-Night with Ralph Benmurgue , this show was a flop and most people wouldn't get the joke unless they knew the CBC's history for making shows people don't watch or axing good shows that they do watch.

Magnolia (1999)

Life is a circle and the love/Hate balance shows how free will can break the cycle of love or harm.

Finally saw the entire Movie and some of the names had a reference

to Hollywood like the way the "Truman Show" used actors names for the Streets and the actors appearing in the show .

Henry Gibson who was famous for his Laugh-In spots as the dirty old man and Nazi in the bushes smoking a cigarette , was the white haired man at the bar and his name was Thurston Howell which referred to Gilligan's Island .

Jason Robarts had the last name of Partridge which Tom cruise changed when he tried to run from his past, but he was shown to be in the Partridge Family as the long lost son that hated his dad while Jimmy Gator had the daughter that hated him .

Magnolia Blvd is the focal point where all the people meet on that one day and people change from harboring hate to embracing forgiveness and love , even a TV in the background was tuned to the Quiz show as part of linking all the stories.

There was a bit of a effort to remember each persons time-line and story , but it ties in all the people at the end and merely shows that your whole future can be changed just from missing a bus or making a different choice for a partner in life.

I want my money back

The movie was completely misleading and the bonus material confirmed my impression that it was a rip-off of Joeseph Conrad's Heart Of Darkness ,the River is replaced by a road and the boat becomes a Jeep and Walter Kurtz is Osama.

The claims made on the outside of the DVD box was overt fraud to

take this fabricated death of a Journalist and present it as factual

while some portions have Muslims supporting the 9/11 attacks for the USA's treatment of Muslims around the world .

I alerted the Video store that the movie should be removed from their "Documentary" section and be placed in the War-drama area for quasi fictional accounts of actual events.
