The Twilight Zone: A Game of Pool (1961)
Season 3, Episode 5

Great Episode
9 November 2007
First off, to SOME of the other comments made, they need to step off their "at-home producer's chair" and just enjoy the drama. It is a great episode! Nothing flashy, nothing fancy, just pure Twilight Zone. This is one of my favorite "straight forward" Twilight Zone episodes. By this, I mean it is like Five Characters in Search of an Exit, or Little Girl Lost. There is 1 main setting, 1 straight forward plot and it is all unveiled through the acting and dialog. It is the simplicity of the story and plot that makes this episode great. Anyways, watch and enjoy! if you want cheesy production techniques, check out Odyssey of Flight 33, where they go back in time and see giant Claymation dinosaurs. Doesn't get any cheesier than that! (I know, in the early 60's those were groundbreaking special effects)

Completely Un-Realistic
11 March 2007
I've been to Morocco, this movie is completely stupid. The people in Morocco (and not in the major cities, all over) are so wonderful and nice. Most of them speak french primarily, and "Arabic" after that (The language of "Arabic" is their official language, but they were a French colony). Well I don't know what else to say besides what happens in Morocco makes it look like some kind of "backwoods" country when it is not. Most of the time I was watching complaining about how this would never happen, and how it was such a horrible depiction, etc etc. Seriously, the movie isn't that good. I think it is funny that Brad Pit complains about what a" f@#ked up country" (to quote the movie) it is, when he stayed so long while he was there filming and had a wonderful time. Many people in the markets talked about him and how nice he was.

Now I know why I Never heard of this movie
6 February 2007
with such a good cast, I was shocked I had not heard of this movie. But after watching it, now I understand. It was a pretty good idea for a movie, but not executed very well. I just felt like Sean Penn had all these great ideas and grand schemes for an intense movie. But instead of focusing in on one solid motif, he threw too many concepts and character issues into the mix. The entire stripper / sexual sub plot with Jack could have been completely left out. There was not a lot of depth behind the acting, it was just kinda there.

Like I mentioned, the plot line kinda skated on the surface of being deep. Nothing about the movie really touched me. Especially considering I lost a family member in a similar way, I thought I would be crying my heart out. But honestly I found it barely entertaining. But if nothing is on TV and the internet isn't working, I suggest watching it.
