House of the Dragon (2022)
Emperors New Clothes
I really loved GoT which had everything, including pace. In contrast House of Dragon is complete garbage, poor labouring storyline, underlayed with common gutter language associated with the worse chavs...unspeable violence and exploitative child birth tossed in for no other reason than to shock......the characters are forgettable, lack any humour or depth or warmth that one can relate too....
The people giving this high marks just don't have a clue about imagination, creativity and adventure...just going with the brain dead masses. Finally this is utterly woke, makes no sense....just avoid this rubbish and don't be sucked in by deluded plebs. God I miss Tyrion and Daenerys Targaryen and Bran....and off course dear old Knight King.
Muumien taikatalvi (2017)
Everyone should watch! Enchanting!
Loved this, great values and themes particularly around regeneration and sustainability. Absolutely loved the non-Pixar animation....so clever and vibrant.....a treat for young kids and parents......brings us closer to our earth and what's important.
Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted (2012)
Forgot the miserable people this was amazing!
I read someone complain this was not very realistic....are they for real! This is a cartoon for kids....get with it....and its superb. Want some realism watch the news!
Howard the Duck (1986)
Duckie Power
All the miserable critics here just miss the point .....this is a hoot.......if you take this seriously you need your head examined. I have always loved this movie...its the ultimate cheese fest....and love Lea Thompson...as Beverley she can tickle my feathers anytime!
War for the Planet of the Apes (2017)
Through the eyes of the Apes!
Thought this movie was great and fitted the series superbly.....obviously there are many IMDB users who don't have a lot of intelligence or attention span it seems.....there's not much you can do for such sheep apart from direct them to nearest cliff.
Moulin Rouge! (2001)
What cinema was invented for!!!!!!
Moulin Rouge is simply fantastic! Its not the best film ever, but in these dark days it is the perfect tonic of escape to a different more romantic world which sadly does not exist today. The acting, songs, sets and costumes are out of this world.
I don't go to the cinema to watch further news of misery and suffering, its thrusted down our necks all the time.
At the end of a terrible week, this is a retreat into a magical beautiful world, one that is so so rare today.
