Why so short?

I wanted at least one hour of that, but still a rating of 10 from me 🤷‍♂️. I hope they will eventually make a full episode. Just the idea of exploring a Billie-Lisa relationship is sooo cool!

Moon Knight (2022)

First episode... just wow!!

Still too early for a thorough review. Only comment for now is that the 1st episode is 10/10 quality on all levels: acting, script suspense and originality (psychological, mystical), fundamentals set for a uniquely original superhero. Ticks all the boxes like no one else so far. Maybe not your customary superhero series (at least not yet), but that is exactly what makes it a genius production.

Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles (2021)

Had been sitting on coals for this!

She's a voice for every generation! I am a 43 yo musician, have gone through all the great ones, from the 50s to the 90s and never thought another artist would come along in the 21st century and inspire me as the ones of old. Her originality and purity of creation is a knock-out to my heart. Billie and Finneas have changed my view on music. Just when I thought it died, they came along! Thank God!

As for this production, well, one can only say... "genius" - again! The children choir, the orchestra, everything was so harmoniously put together and the addition of the animation "layer" to the video made the whole production as original as ever! Goes straight to the heart...

Wild Mountain Thyme (2020)

All-time favourite!

After seeing the low rating of this film, I decided that ratings are anything but reflecting the truth. This film is genius. Performances are out of this world. Emily is definitely at her very best. The plot is very original, very moving. I was thinking what to write to do this film honour. I can't think of anything other than: "this is a film history juncture". Made my all-time favourites list!

Great film, but why the demon worship?

I was thrilled with everything: the performances, the plot, the music, the cinematography, really a stunning film. I was about to give it a 10, but then, at the end, I saw that satanic colour they gave it, and I was shocked: What's the point of that demon worship element? To have a "villainish" type of character is one thing. To promote demon worship in such a naked and raw way, well, not for me, and definitely not for our kids, right? So sad, so very sad...
