Fatal Attraction (1987)
A classic suspense film
Glenn Close's character pisses me off so badly but damn this is a great film, a classic. I could never understand infidelity or why someone would do it because you're betraying someone you love for such an instant gratification. It shows a lot about your character if you could do something like that to someone. My favorite line is when the lieutenant says "this is his bed he's made and he's gonna have to lay in it" because if you're gonna betray someone then there's gotta be some sort of consequences, however, THESE consequences are a crazy string of events!!!! Im sure there's crazies out there who would do that too so that's what made it even scarier. Overall, very well done and incredibly realistic and authentic human reactions.
Atonement (2007)
Disappointed
I heard this was one of the saddest movies of all time and I really needed a good cry so I gave it a shot. Sure it is sad but I honestly felt super pissed off especially at Briony! All I wanted was to shed a few tears but my blood was boiling instead. It is a well done film though. Great cast, costuming and overall score was good. I did think that when Briony was older it was annoying when she said she gave them their happiness by writing this book. I was like oh please you selfish little shat. You totally ruined their lives. Her character was annoying even as a senior which I felt bad about at first but whatever it's my honest opinion.
Rhythm + Flow (2019)
Cool contest show
I think its a great show if you love competition shows but I personally got bored after the 1st episode.
The Queen's Gambit (2020)
Very cool and unique
I loved everything about this series! I'm glad it was a limited series also because it was the perfect amount of episodes to complete the story. Very well done with cinematography and costuming.
Game of Thrones (2011)
I'm a loyal fan but...
The Last season sucked! I absolutely loved everything about the series but the last season felt rushed and did not compare to the very complicated storylines they wrote out over 5 seasons.
I Care a Lot (2020)
Very anticlimactic
I loved the movie up until the ending! It was clever but I thought the build up would have been worth it but I was not impressed with the way they ended the story.
The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018)
At first I was skeptical...
But I kept watching because I really wanted to know what happened in each story! Very cool cinematography and I love the reliance on natural sounds rather than a score!
