Brooklyn Nine-Nine: The Favor (2017)
Less a comedy more a soap opera
This is not really a comedy anymore just a boring soap opera. At least days of our lives knows what it is and doesn't pretend otherwise.
As with soap operas it is now the sort of show you put on because you can't think of anything else to do.
It was funny for maybe one season but that got lost pretty quickly and now it is just a self indulgent soap.
The characters have gone from charming and likeable to annoying and forced. And it is clear it is just a paycheque for the actors. Apart from Andy Samberg whose self-love and self-abortion leaps out at of the screen and slaps you in the face; and then kicks you in the head while your on the ground, and then smashes you repeatedly with a baseball bat until you are forced to say 'yes you are funny, now please leave me alone'.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2013)
Jake Peralta; the most punchable character ever
Is Jake Peralta the most punchable character ever? Undoubtedly, yes.
This show is pretty funny at times. And most of the characters are loveable if not likeable with the exception of Jake Peralta. Peralta is one of the most self absorbed and conceited characters in any comedy show.
It is pretty obvious that Andy Samberg is a producer of the show because he is in every scene and every scene is a vehicle to show how awesome his alter ego is.
In reality, Peralta is the sort of person that the David Brent character in the Office so cleverly and funnily sends up. In any real work place people would nod politely and fake laugh at Peralta while doing a mental eye roll at how ludicrous he is. They would avoid telling him the truth to avoid his childish sulking that would result; secretly what they really want to say (and we have all been there) is "you are very annoying, unfunny and your constant need for approval is tiring, what you think is charming and redeeming is actually just pathetic. Just because you bought yourself a mug that says best detective doesn't mean you are."

A**holes
Im not sure if I hate or like this show. What I do know is that I hate all the characters, even the bit characters who only have one line. Unfortunately it is also intriguing.
It is a show about a**holes who are trying to be bigger a**holes than their neighours.
In many ways it is depressing because it suggests that in general people are a**holes when in fact people are generally nice and good. Or maybe it's just Montana that is full of a**holes.
S.W.A.T. (2017)
Blue steel
The actors and writers are all clearly graduates of The Derek Zoolander Center for Kids Who Can't Read Good and Who Wanna Learn to Do Other Stuff Good Too.
Straight up terrible. But it made me laugh more than many sitcoms.
Mechanic: Resurrection (2016)
Nope
The fact that the next movie the director did after directing this trash was Jim Button and Luke the Engine Driver says a lot about this movie
The Mandalorian (2019)
Firefly it ain't!
To think that someone funded a second series of this rubbish. It truly is a crazy world.
IMDd should allow the option of giving a show a minus score for show like this that are so bad they drag whole genres down
