The worst from Marvel
23 July 2022
A thunderous display of completely unnecessary stupidity. Not worth spending money on this one. Marvel could have skipped this episode and left it in the head of the writers.

An exciting surprise
23 July 2022
A totally crazy and highly original film carried by a Michelle Yeoh (Tomorrow Never Dies, The Lady) at the top of her form. She is simply sublime.

The cast is excellent. We are pleased to see Ke Huy Quan (The Goonies, I. Jones and the Temple of Doom) and an unrecognizable Jamie Lee Curtis as a tax inspector.

The editing of the film is extraordinary and deserves to be rewarded. Moreover I would see this film nominated for editing, screenplay, directing and acting at the next Oscars.

Welcome back to Downton Abbey
29 May 2022
The fans will be delighted by this sequel.

All the romance, charm and plots we loved in the show are wonderfully brought to this 2nd cinematographic opus. The costumes and decors are stunning.

New characters join the ensemble bringing in more peps (excellent Dominic West and Laura Haddock) while some others find an epic closure to their stories.

Dame Maggie Smith still has the best lines.

Step back in time at the Pera Palace
29 May 2022
A joyful surprise and a pleasant show filled with real history facts.

A good alternative to English and American series with this time travel experience.

The Pera Palace truly existed and welcomed guests as famous as Ernest Hemingway or Josephine Baker. Agatha Christie wrote her novel "Crime on the Orient-Express" at this hotel.

Total bore
29 May 2022
Total disappointment. Total bore. All the magic from the previous movies has been lost.

The plot and final battle are flat, nothing to hook the audience.

Even if we miss Johnny Depp, Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royale) is the cherry on the cake of this failure.

Perfect popcorn movie

Tough not to compare with Romancing the Stone. Nothing new with the plot but we laugh a lot and spend a good time.

The duo Bullock-Tatum works well. The Brad Pitt cameo is hilarious. And the biggest surprise must certainly be Daniel Radcliffe, far from his Harry Potter years. He's fantastic and funny.

Fall in love all over again
29 May 2022
A lovely romantic show filled with sensibility, tenderness and makes you want to fall in love all over again.

For once a positive and nice LGBT series. By far one of the best in recent years. At the top of the Netflix series.

Far from the usual clichés we're used to in American shows. It's filled with positivity, objectivity and is very current (bullying, coming out, sexuality, family).

We smile, we cry, we laugh and we jump into teenage years with a happy heart.

A new breed in horror-gore movie genre
29 May 2022
For horror-gore fans who enjoy romance movies.

A pleasant surprise that we devour despite some scenes hard to swallow. Dating will never look the scene after this movie. Can't say more without spoiling.

Sebastian Stan (Captain America) is chillingly good.

Classic Marvel action movie
29 May 2022
Almost 126 minutes of computer generated images movie in complete madness.

Non-stop action packed movie that keeps you glued to your seat.

Perfectly entertaining but no big surprises.

No objections
29 May 2022
David E. Kelley did it again. A good 1st season with it's expected pack of twists til' the last minutes.

I really enjoyed the courtroom scenes and the lawyers questionings, especially the ones from Mickey Haller (fantastic Manuel Garcia-Ruflo).

Still, have to admit, I expected more surprises with the story lines. I guess I watch too many cop and lawyer's shows.

A good acting ensemble.

Joyful flying time
29 May 2022
Top Gun Maverick will not become a classic as the 1986 version.

Never less, the flying scene are absolutely stunning and amazing. Your stay glued to your seat with those action packed moments. Even more when you know those are not computer generated images.

Amazing script !
15 August 2021
Just Friends avoids all the gay clichés you usually see in gay movies. It is fresh, funny and also deals with deep subjects. The scenario is rich and subtile. The casting is right on point. Jenny Arean is fabulous as the gran-mother.
