Ahsoka (2023– )

I Regret this Decision....

Unfortunately, I'm really starting to feel that Filoni should've just made an animated Season 5 of Rebels. The voice acting was fabulous. The storyline was complete and the show rewarded its fans. Ahsoka has offered me no sense of satisfaction. It just disappoints time and time again. Chopper is the only character that has put a smile on my face.

I'm not sure who is at the helm of casting these days for the Disney Star Wars empire, but they need to be cut loose. With the exception of Andor, pretty much every post Mandalorian series has suffered from heinously lackluster acting. You can point a finger at the Director, but dan you get blood from a turnip? Nope.

I don't know. I loved Rebels and the Clone Wars. The show doesn't hold a candle to either of those. Sorry Dave. You've lost it.

Such an Enjoyable and Heartfelt Ride....

I'm a casual fan of the Premier League. On a scale of one to ten, ten being my love for the NHL and zero being the MLB, I'd put Football at about a seven. I'll tune in on Saturday and Sunday Mornings, drink some coffee and enjoy the game. After all of these years, I'm still not certain who my team is. It's probably West Ham?

I'll admit that watching teams get relegated is painful, but I never knew how low you could go until I watched this show. So, yeah. Ouch.

What really won me over are the fans and the players. I love sports and this show deliveries the passion and impact that one can feel for their team at a great level. It's hard not to pull for Wrexham.

I'm not a fan of Reynolds and I never really thought of Rob beyond Always Sunny. They are actually the least interesting people on the show and did (in my opinion) occasionally detract from the feel of the show. Rob grew on me a bit over the season, but the less of them, the better. I don't pull for Wrexham to see Rob and Reynolds succeed. I do it for the team and the fans. They are the heart of the show.

I've gotta admit that I kept expecting Fang to show up and save the day!! Tell say that's unreasonable. It was an interesting episode, but given how long we waited for Season 2 and how few episodes we will get, it's sort of a letdown. I'm very invested in this show. This episode really didn't contribute anything to the plot, but it was entertaining. I'm still giving an 8/10. I did enjoy it.

Too bad this series probably won't get renewed. Why you ask? Because the big wigs at Disney are probably pretty embarrassed by how much better it is than any Star Wars effort of late. Well, except the various series involving Filoni.

MacFarlane assembled a wonderful cast, wrote fantastic stories, touched on some interesting topics and pretty much created an altogether enjoyable show. Here's hoping it gets renewed!!

This is my second do at this episode. It feels like a stupid episode, but it's testing the viewer as well. Perhaps unintentionally? Why Zoe?? I'd rather he take the dogs. They'll actually help.

I completely enjoyed this episode. The acting, the writing, the subject matter... Tolerance, Acceptance, Tradition.... Change. Bravo MacFarlane. You've set the bar pretty high for yourself now. Good luck matching this one.

What a joke. We all know how this needed to end, but no, let's just let everyone live. I'm typing this as it's ending. If they let Reva live.... What a trash character. Please don't bring her back. WORST CHARACTER EVER!!!! What garbage. Whatever.

Seriously, there is really only one stupid main character whose life is in question (Reva) and I seriously don't care if she lives, dies or ends up as a Stormtrooper. Does anyone care?

What a waste. A total waste. Once again, I give it a decent score for visuals only.

This really was a huge waste of a great opportunity. The writing, or complete lack thereof, is so painful. Aesthetically, the episode is fantastic, so I'll give it a 5.

I liked this show. I really, really liked this show, but this last season just didn't do it for me. It was one of those timelines that buried itself into its own abyss of absurdity. I don't know... Letdown? That's probably the best way to put it. Anyway. I don't think I'd recommend this show to someone who hasn't seen it. It just wasn't worth the investment I put it into time wise. I wouldn't suggest that anyone waste their time on it as well.

This is a comedy? Really?

It is powerful, sad and occasionally awkward enough to make me laugh. Definitely not a comedy yet, maybe it will be. The acting and script are amazing.

I get the feeling they tried to rescue this show with Mando and Grogu, but it was too late. The ending was written and it was bad. They couldn't escape it. Garbage in, garbage out. And, seriously, killing off Cad Bane? You could've wiped the whole scooter gang from the story and it would've been more appreciated by me (probably more than just me?). Bane is an amazing character. Very sad. Please let RR go. This show was a huge letdown.

But I'll give it a 7/10 hoping that it'll improve. The acting was poor, the fight scenes are weak and the costumes aren't convincing. Anyway.... I was never a huge Boba fan, but I'll keep watching.

Saturday Morning All Star Hits! (2021)

But it ended getting less and less interesting. The initial episodes were funny and smart. The cartoons were great and we got just enough of the hosts to keep them entertaining. Then they switched gears, started lowering the quality of the cartoons and focused more on the live action characters. It just kept going downhill after that. I was completely disinterested by episode 7, but I finished it.

....Worse and worse. I could roll with the first few seasons and kinda let it stand on its own, but now it has just gone too far. I don't think I like a single character on this show. I don't feel connected to a single one of them. Why? The writers should focus more on who the characters are rather than the ideas they represent. You are leaving the most important part of the character out by doing so.... The individual. Blah. Meh. The show just feels like, I don't know.... A statement and not a story.

This show will typically make me smile , but this episode had me laughing quite a few times. I'm a huge fan and, honestly, this is the funniest one I've seen in quite a long time. Bravo!!

When it's good, it's good. I'll say that first. I do, however, feel that we could've effectively covered this story in a great deal less time and lost nothing. I didn't mind the pacing, but there were multiple scenes that just didn't need to be so gruelingly long and slow. I don't know. Also, how did no one on this island never think of or say the word Vampire. I mean, given the way that things unfolded.... How? Were they all that stupid? I guess so.
