Chernobyl: Vichnaya Pamyat (2019)
Fitting end to the most important tv show ever produced
Everything was tied up nicely and the creators achieved one of the most difficult things in cinematography: a satisfying end without sacrificing authenticity and maintaining the logic they started with. The ingenuity of the creators never ceases to amaze me in the way they manage to make people understand the more technical aspects.
I beg everyone to ignore the review bombing that is happening right now, it's disrespectful to the heroes that went through this tragedy and portrays the shallowness of the times.
Chernobyl (2019)
Global masterpiece
I want to start this by saying I live in a zone that was mildly affected by Chernobyl so I know from authentic sources (my parents) the atmosphere of that time. The truth is nobody knew what happened and still nobody would know what happened today were it not for a documentary and this show. The magnitude of this event cannot be stressed enough, everyone living on this planet must take the time to watch Chernobyl just to understand a little bit of history, because that history still affects us today.
It's saddening to see that this show is getting review bombed because of die hard fans of other popular shows that don't understand the importance of global awareness and are effectively insulting the memory of the heroes that gave their lives during that time to keep this planet inhabitable.
