Top of the World (II) (1997)
10/10
Great fun ride. - One of best action movies.
6 February 2005
Right from the beginning, you are thrown into a situation which typifies the entire movie: fun. Real fun - the way action movies are supposed to be, with great one liners (many silly ones that the block buster crowd cannot stand). Compared to the typical blockbuster crap fest, this is like an Oscar contender. Dennis Hopper is excellent, the slew of bad guy characters who never cease to entertain is amazing. If you are a fan of quirky comedy mixed with action with absolutely no regard for conventional movies then this movie is for you. However, if you like the big budget crap and think that silly humor is 'corny' then stay away. Clearly not intended for eyeball rolling tasteless viewers. Peter Coyote delivers one of the best lines in this movie - watch out for it..In fact there are funny lines by all the bad guy characters as well - The love angle between Weller and Carrere is mercilessly short giving more time for the bad guys to do their fun routines.

Watch this movie - its one action movie you would not just enjoy - it would make you happy..

Erasable You (1998)
10/10
Clever, witty and really funny.
1 January 2003
Who would have thought that this kind of wit could have been produced in the politically correct smut house of Hollywood. But here it is in all its glory, a movie that never takes itself too seriously and not afraid to make a few jokes about race along with other fun filled moments starring the incompetent hit man, the bank manager granting the loan, along with other notoriously funny characters. If you want to laugh this movie is for you.

Choke (2001)
Best Movie of 2000
27 December 2002
Superb acting by both Michael Madsen and Dennis Hopper would have guaranteed Oscars to them in a perfect world. Unfortunately, as can be seen from the very few comments at IMDB, no one with a good taste in movies has ever seen it.

This story has an intriguing premise, an engaging story line, and the series of events unfold in such a way that you would enjoy the ride and never bother try to figure out how it would end. The entire plot sequence involves every familiar but sinister plot device to make an exciting story, but it is the dialog between Hopper and Madsen that makes this movie tick. The interaction between the two of them is so good that you would have to see it to believe it.

Definitely one of Madsen best movies, clearly showing why he was the first choice for Travolta's part in pulp fiction. Best Picture, Best Actor Awards go to this movie. One of my favorite movies made.

One word of warning: the first five minutes of this movie while the credits roll are atrociously bad (poor acting from D grade actors) that take away 1/2* from this otherwise perfect movie. 9.5/10

Blood Dolls (1999)
10/10
Quite possible, the greatest movie ever made!
21 November 2001
This is truly an amazing movie. It does not have a very suspenseful plot, it is not very gory, but there is something sinister and even humorous about the series of events that make this a truly bizarre movie. The acting is surprisingly quite good, the plot is quite good but most of all it is very entertaining and very hard to change the station once it starts. The perfect B movie to watch after coming home from a few beers on a Saturday night. The dominatrix wife of the villain's illusive enemy is so perfect in her role that it makes you almost forget the great performances of the the evil looking dwarf, the puppet master (or the guy who looks after the dolls), the tiny headed villain and of course the blood dolls. Ten stars, better than any commercial block buster movie ever released.

Very Bad.. much worse than the movies they look at..
5 February 2001
Now I understand the 'opportunity' of getting to watch old B movies by looking at MST 3000 , but what's so funny about stupid mean spirited comments hurled at cheap movies, some of which are not that bad... The time has passed for this show and there is no humor in a show that laughs at old cheap movies when every SINGLE movie released to the movie theater from 1995 onwards has been repulsive and unwatchable...

Maybe they should start making fun of the Matrix, Independence day etc. Million dollar crap fests with shrill dialog and fake superficial characters....

And this is not an "intelligent" show.... There is nothing hard to understand about what they say.... Even Beavis and Butthead are more intelligent and more entertaining...

The funny thing is that the movies they criticize seem more entertaining if watched alone than this stupid show....

Utter garbage.......
