Is this where we're really at now?

The only sexuality a show can produce is masturbation, really poorly done BDSM vibes (under the guise of trying to show how much control the main male character Tedros has over others) & the crass, classless, explicit dialogue suited only to porn videos called "cum shots"?

Because that's what we've got in this show.

What's supposed to be the shock value here?

It's repulsive, that's for certain, and I'm definitely no prude.

Whoever gave the go ahead to this needs a reality check on what's acceptable to put on screen without a porn rating.

I don't need a creepy looking guy, and the man (whatever name he's using now) playing Tedros, is one really ugly, creepy looking character in this show, saying "I want you to choke on my c*ck", and all the rest of the porn commentary.

Whatever they were going for has been shoved down, face first in excrement, due to the banal, base, dialogue masquerading as entertainment.

The female lead is utterly sexualised and it's boring. It's old news, the way females were often depicted decades ago, and now we're back, yet this time we've got ugly male leads speaking at them as if it's a porn film.

If I employed these writers, and casters, they'd be fired. The season canned and cut my losses.

When I first saw the female lead in the first episode, I had a reaction to how they look. I had no control over it at all. I couldn't look at them, they looked so weird, so distorted with whatever work or makeup they'd had done/ on their face, my brain couldn't process it. They didn't look human, as humans actually look.

After the first episode, my mind acclimatised to her features, so I don't have that response anymore. I can appreciate where the female was going with their look.

This isn't meant as a disrespectful comment towards the lead. It's none of my business what people do to their faces and bodies.

My commentary is directly towards how as a viewer, my mind was impacted by what I was seeing.

The female lead can act, and I'm sad she's placed in such based content as this show creates between the 2 main leads.

She deserves better.

We all, deserve better than this.

Do better Hollywood.

The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself (2022)

Good show except the music

I don't know how to fill this whole space when there's only one thing tedious about this show so far and that's the sound track.

There are times when there's calm background music or more tense background music etcetera which brings atmosphere yet no detraction from the show, and the rest of the time it's bad music.

Now music is subjective, people's tastes anyway, and I don't mind some of the types of music used, however, the constant heavy base and radio like features when this music isn't required or wanted or suited to the show is really annoying.

Most times the "empty music" as i like to term it, add it brings nothing to the show but aggravation, I turn the sound off until it's passed.

It's that bad. A sound track in a show can be a real asset, even make scenes, certainly make them memorable. However the music in this series does zero but bring annoyance.

If there's a season 2 which I hope there is, please stop with all the rap-like-trying-too-hard-to-be-cool-music. It's really bad. Don't need so many songs of the same type in every episode.

The characters can move around or be running or waking or driving or whatever without a constant bass heavy sound track.

If the storyline was not so interesting and the acting not so good, I'd stopped watching it after the 2nd or 3rd episode the music is that annoying.

Well mate it through the minimum amount of characters.

Given 5/10 would be higher is the music was not so bad.

NB: the music alone away from the show may be okay, yet it needs to be away from the show please.

My Massive Cock (2022 TV Special)

Well this was interesting to watch.

Not sure to large penises on the show, yet how the men handled their own anatomy and how they viewed their penis.

Some are open and happy to be open about it, taking photos, making moulds of their penis themselves to show their friends. Others are not so happy about the way they've been treated and are treated both by their mates &/OR partners.

There's a bloke called Scott whose "mates" have taken videos & photos of him naked in the change rooms without his consent, then shared them with everyone so his reputation proceeds him.

When Scott tries to discuss this matter with his "mate" the guy is completely deaf to what Scott is saying. The "mate" is making excuses and saying Scott has no right to privacy in the change rooms.

Someone needs to tell you this Scott - none of those men are your friends. Not a single one of them. If they were, they'd never disrespect or violate you like that. They'd also listen to what you were saying instead of pushing their own agendas and stop the abusive behaviour immediately.

Because it is abuse. It's sexual harassment and assault.

Get yourself some real friends. People who actually respect you.

I wouldn't date you due to your friends. I couldn't handle that type of person, that level of immaturity and entitlement they have to abuse you. I wouldn't have the tolerance to listen to it either.

It says a lot about you that you permit these people into your life.

Therapy is a great way to start learning how to respect yourself.

Then there's Matt who is looking at having his penis made smaller as he's been abused and objectified so much by abusive women in his life that he seems to think mutilating himself is his only way out.

I feel terrible for him.

Matt, there are horrible people everywhere, no matter the sex. It's possible to find a loving relationship with a large penis. My friend who is well endowed has a loving relationship. He had a few lemons, yet ultimately found his match.

Please don't think you have to alter your penis to have a good relationship that is about who you are, not your penis size.

Therapy is really important. We learn what is ours and what damage is due to others. Learning how to like yourself, respect yourself, have good boundaries and be able to spot a creep a mile away is all good stuff.

I hope these men find inner peace, decent friends and loving relationships.

The doco is also interesting as it shows objectification from both men and women regarding penis size.

Women have been tolerating objectification for hundreds of years+. It's not fun for anyone and it needs to stop.

I don't know how much educational value is gained from this show, however if it makes you think about things differently, so you can see how not to act towards others, then it's worth watching for that alone.

Have given it 5/10.

Me Time (2022)

Not funny

Film isn't funny.

Characters aren't likeable, or people you'd want to know, run into or meet.

There's a scene with a cub and Hart literally throws the animal. It's meant to be as part of a joke sequence, yet it's animal cruelty. It's unacceptable behaviour.

I can't recommend this film. If you've got 1 brain cell or more, do yourself a favour and take a pass on this one.

It's a poor film and no one should waste their lives watching it.

The first "joke" birds flying into then when in the air, the second "joke" him slipping in the kitchen on turtle poo. It doesn't get any better and those 2 occasions really aren't funny.

Would give it a 0/10 if that was available.

Resident Evil (2022)

What a waste

They had so much to work with and yet they made this.

The acting was not bad.

It's the storyline and dialogue.

It was so overly dramatic and drawn out by the end of series 1. The episodes became progressively worse.

By the last one I'm thinking 'is it over yet? Is this the end? Please hurry up'.

The adult storyline went downhill from the boat.

Dislikable characters doing stupid things is the worst.

Parental abuse

This film is a real bummer.

If you've grown up with trauma then I'd give this film a wide birth. Wish I'd known that before watching it.

Watching it all I could think to myself is,'Why am I watching a film about self absorbed, deluded, neglectful, abusive parents who teach their children how to be liars, cheats, grifters? Who teach their kids that no harm that keeps happening to them is their parents fault, just some kind of physics equation (aka rubbish to excuse the parents negligence)?'

It didn't improve.

If you're wanting to punish yourself for some reason then watch this film. If you're over abusive content in your life then give this one a big miss.

Okay so now Vanda is Viktor - and trans?

1) If you're trans, you're trans.

2) If you're a woman who prefers short hair and other women, or you're a "masculine" woman who loves women, that doesn't automatically make you trans. Women are all things.

I wish both of these messages were in shows.

So young women get a full rounded view of the world.

House of Gucci (2021)

Not bad at all

After reading news articles online and such I went into this film thinking it would be terrible.

It wasn't.

There is only 1 moment that bothered me. It was right at the beginning when Lady Gaga is narrating. The accent turns, just for a moment, from an Italian accent to something that reminded me of Russian, before returning to Italian again.

That's it.

That's the only issue with the film.

I thought Gaga did a great job.

They all did.

I've never been attracted to Gucci.

Find all those "exclusive" brands quite gaudy & tasteless. Everyone walking around with company logos on their goods as if that means anything other than advertising for said companies.

This film nailed it for me. I'll never purchase a Gucci item. Have no interest in supporting a company swindled from family - twice - then recreated in someone else's vision.

Tom Ford or no, no thankyou.

I am aware my lack of personage isn't going to matter to Gucci the behemoth.

I wonder why so many buy into being a walking advertisement for a company? The company should be paying you.

The film is definitely worth watching. The acting is good. Give it a go. See what you think.

Spencer (2021)

Absolutely hated it

All i kept thinking was "could they make the woman seem any more stupid? What an insult to her memory".

It's like over acting all the time.

Drove me nuts.

Diana Spencer was a highly intelligent woman.

This rendition of her life, to me, is blatant, annoying, tedious garbage that's completely over acted by Kristen Stewart. Such a shame as she's a real talent, so putting that down to the director.

Diana always appeared composed & together when in public. Even when her marriage was breaking down.

There was that live TV show she did & discussed 3 people in the marriage? Even then she was composed and not at all ditsy, bobbing her head around everywhere & sounding like an idiot.

To me, this is a disrespectful piece of work that cannot be claimed to be an accurate portrayal of Diana Spencer.

It's utterly ridiculous, the physical mannerisms & movement that have been associated with her character.

Upsetting to see a respected figure treated with such disrespect.

Would give this a minus Infinity if possible.

Ida Red (2021)

Worth it for the Frank Grillo scene

If you want to know what a psycho looks like, in case you've never met one, watch this film.

The scene with Frank Grillo dancing in the kitchen shows it perfectly.

My 7/10 rating is given for that scene.

The film overall was okay.

Josh Hartnett did a great job as always.

The Frank Grillo scene really affected me. Have met more than a few violent psychopaths in my lifetime. His acting was incredible in that scene.

MTV Floribama Shore (2017–2021)

They're trying

Watched all seasons and seen the cast grow.

Until Season 5.

They've added animals into the mix and that is an utterly stupid thing to do.

Drunk, fighting idiots mixed with defenceless, innocent animals don't make a good mix at all.

Whoever thought it was a good idea to have animals in this series needs to be fired.

None of these people are fit guardians.

They should be charged with animal exploitation. So a show that was somewhat progressing, even though there were fights a other immature behaviour, has now bottomed out with the inclusion of defenceless animals in their drunken escapades of idiocy.

No I don't recommend this show.

Slasher (2016– )

Pass

The show itself isn't so bad. Regular horrible characters, most deserving of death etc.

It's the deaths that are grotesque.

There's killing people and then there's this.

Now you would think that'd make this new series Flesh & Blood a must see, but it's quite the opposite.

The deaths and death scenes are done without any class at all. It's blatant butchering and left me with a distasteful aftertaste.

I don't recommend this show to anyone.

If you want to see a somewhat clever kill show watch the Saw series - early movies- or something else like the Purge series, anything other than this.

I found this to be quite debasing.

Zone Drifter (2021)

Not bad for an Indie really

I gave this a 7/10 for an indie film.

A low - mid-range budget & unknown cast.

Had no preconceived ideas about what this was about before watching it.

For what it is, it kept my attention for the length of the film. Which is saying a lot considering how much media I consume each day and how much I turn off due to poor quality content (which is a lot!).

Special effects were okay, acting was not so bad really, storyline was not so bad either.

Look for an indie it did okay.

I don't want to say too much and give anything away.

It's an original, and don't go in with expectations, just let it flow.

So in my scoring, for an indie film of this type & budget, I give it a 7/10.

Good start for these guys.

Physical (2021–2023)

Pretty hardcore

It's honest portrayal of bulimia is great.

The acting is great.

The look and feel of it is great.

There's not enough episodes in a season.

The lewdness of it with the way the female masturbation is shown, is a real turn off. Wouldn't want to see a man in that position with that much information on screen & don't want to see a woman doing it either.

It's not cool, edgy or artistic, it's simply lewd, in bad taste & completely unnecessary to the script, scene and viewer.

If there's a second season I hope they show more class.

This show is definitely not one for children - at all.

Jiva! (2021–2023)

I loved this show.

Fantastic dancing, absolutely joyful and engaging.

Wish I could dance like that!

Decent storyline, just right, not too much in any direction. Pulls you in, keeps you there wanting to know what happens next.

I don't understand why people have given this show a low score.

Haven't smiled this much in a very long time. Absolutely binge watched it and I completely recommend it to everyone.

I hope there's a season 2 and it's not cancelled.

What a great show. Excellent acting, really good.

Glad to have been able to view it. Please make more!

Jupiter's Legacy (2021– )

Okay from episode 5 onwards

I found the first 4 episodes of this series taxing to wade through. Like walking through knee high mud for a 100 km (or miles).

From episode 5 onwards it picks up, & is better in pace, character, engagement, clarity, action, depth & interest.

If you go through the slog at the beginning it proves worth it by half way through, onwards to the end.

I hope to see another season of this.

I also hope the next season starts with the pace of season ones episode 5 onwards.

Really don't want to have to wade through knee high mud again to get to the decent stuff.

Let's keep that challenge for the characters in the show, not the people watching it.

It's a phenomenal series and it's content is as valid today as it was decades ago when the series is set.

This is what Justice League is meant to be. Real depth of character, a storyline that makes sense & none of it cheapens any of the characters.

Finally, the version that should've been THE version, the only version.

Strange Evidence (2017– )

Not cool

Was watching this show & they have this episode (5) in Season 1 called 'Night of the Chupacabra'.

It's terrible the narration & people in that show. They've effectively found a new species of canine & instead of being respectful & treating the discovery with the awe & reverence the being deserves, the humans make remarks about how ugly it is, & all the rest.

There's nothing ugly about the canine-like being. Nothing at all. The only ugliness is the humans.

I hate shows like this that have ignorant humans as part of the lineup who ridicule beings they don't understand. The woman had one taxidermied. Said she tested it's DNA & it's a new species not in the records. So why isn't this information being given to museums & other regulatory bodies? Why isn't this species being investigated & protected, instead of ridiculed & demeaned on this ridiculous tv show?

Really bothers me. It's terrible.

Other episodes have been okay. I like the Astrophysicist Hakeem O. He's always great to see in shows.

It's hard to know whether to recommend this because it has such abhorrent people in some of the episodes ie the one I've mentioned previously.

You can likely find more interesting things on YouTube. I don't recommend any show that ridicules non humans. There's no need to be disrespectful & horrible towards others. None at all. We don't need to be teaching people to hate what they don't recognise or don't understand. There enough of that stupidity in the world already. I recommend reading a good book instead. Peace.

Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years (2021– )

Animation is a fail

I love SpongeBob. Adore the little guy.

I couldn't get past the terrible animation they've used for this series. It's really bad. It's not like the classic SpongeBob animation where it's cool, easily registered & awesome. This animation is like a gimmicky 3D try & it looks absolutely terrible. Absolutely terrible.

It doesn't work enough to be passable even & the voices are off. SpongeBob doesn't sound the same in the first episode. I couldn't get through the whole thing it just really upset my senses. Please people, leave SpongeBob as he was. He's awesome as he is. Please no more of this horrible animation style. I would love to this redone in regular SpongeBob style & sound.

Strange Creatures (2015–2016)

Avoid at all costs. Watch David Attenborough instead.

The writers of this series are obviously incredibly ignorant. They write disparagingly about the animals they show in both series. I was so over hearing the abuse I couldn't watch it anymore. Ugly, weird, funny-looking, frauds - the list just goes on & it's a constant barrage of negativity towards the animals and their features, instead of being educational, joyous & fun to watch - which these types of shows should be. There is absolutely zero respect for any of the animals in these series.

Please don't watch this garbage.

Watch some David Attenborough documentaries instead. Now they're wonderful to watch. Sir Attenborough is a decent, good man, who is a naturalist. He respects the beings he's interacting with & educating us about. It brings a sense of wonder, amazement & joy. The types of feelings kids & adults should be getting when learning about the animals, flowers & nature we share those extraordinary planet with.

I would give this particular show a minus Infinity if that were possible.

Get yourself some David Attenborough instead and have a really good, calming, educational time.

Fate: The Winx Saga (2021–2022)

Teens deserve better than this, we all do

This series had promise. Until half way through and the Bloom character is a total self serving, ugly character. There is no empathy for the whining girl whose actually had a fortunate life. It's so bad that by the 5th episode I was looking at the actress and thinking how ugly she is. The character is so dislikeable, that it's permeated through to the actual actress. I mean that never happens. Not ever.

But it has now. I can't stand the sight of her, nor all the fake angst & whinging in this series. Also such stupidity by this Bloom character. It's beyond teenage impulsivity, it's idiocy, sheer idiotic writing.

If you're a teen, a tween or the like, watch Heirs of the Night instead. It's more intelligent & still has all the teen content, yet it's more interesting and less pathetic in writing and content.

It's a real shame as there's plenty of other actors/ characters in this show who do a great job of acting their parts.

Writers need to realise that a character needs to likeable, not repulsively whiney & self absorbed like the Bloom character.

Makes me grimace. I won't be watching anything else this actress who is Blooms' character, does in her life. She may have been directed to act that way, and it's written by others, however it's so bad, it's put me off every seeing her face again.

I had zero idea such a thing could actually happen. The actors can only do what they can with what they're given. This is obviously not a comment on the actress herself - it's the writing, directing and all the rest that has been so bad that I don't want to see her face again even though I'm aware she's just acting in a role.

And why are all the girls putting fillers in their lips? These are supposed to be kids. Can we have some originality here please? People are supposed to look different, it's what makes them interesting and unique. All this filler garbage detracts when you're watching a person act. All I see is fake lips, too large pouts and it's a turn off.

Hire kids for roles that haven't had their faces distorted and changed please.

Kids need to know that's not normal and they're good enough as they are.

Tragic fail.

Greenland (2020)

One of the worst films

Wanted to like this.

Found it impossible.

It's a 'dumb' film. One of those films where the characters make dumb decisions at every turn. So dumb that as the film goes on, you hope something bad happens to them.

These types of films are insulting to the mind. It's not even in the mind-numbing-veg-out category. It's simply bad.

Bad, bad, bad, bad.

Acting is whatever, filming is whatever, storyline is bad.

We should be able to sue film makers when things are this bad, for recompense for the time of our lives wasted watching it. In this case 2 hours.

If you like dumb films, with dumb decisions then this is for you.

Sure was not for me.

Fantastic!!!!

YaY!!!

What a great show!!

Reminds me of Doctor Who, yet it isn't Doctor Who. This show stands on its own 2 feet!

Wow, paranormal, mysteries, laughter, likeable characters, good stories that don't crack your head open or closed, engaging in the best ways.

So much fun!

Wish there were more shows like this one!

Please, can the next series have like 22 episodes? Or 356? :-)

Only issue I had was there's only 8 episodes to the first series! Sure hope there's going to be many more episodes and series to come!

Thank you to all involved in making this.

Life has been pretty tough of late. Today for me was a really bad day. Then I encountered this show & it's brought laughter, joy, anticipation with satisfaction, true escapism & happiness to my world.

Unhinged (I) (2020)

Russell Crowe makes a great psycho.

All the acting is good in this film.

The reason I've given it 5 stars instead of higher, is due to the all the holes. Characters doing really stupid things. Not doing obvious things etc.

It really, really, really let's the film down.

I don't know if this was due to poor direction, screenplay or editing. The stupidity, for want of a better word, in decisions of the main female character is insulting to the viewer. This isn't anything to do with the acting. It's the writing or editing etc. I watched and heard myself saying things out loud to the screen in frustration. The issues are just so obvious. I don't understand how they didn't pick up on this in the editing room and fix it.

It's a real shame as the acting is good, Russell knocks it out of the park as a psycho and the action scenes on the road are cringeworthy - even covered my eyes at one stage at the carnage!

If only there fixed the glaring issues in the characters reactions/inaction etc.

Watch it for yourself, see if you see what I did.

Was good to see Russell on the screen again.
