Entrapment (1999)
YAWN
1 April 2000
I'm sorry to anyone who truly enjoyed this film, but I didn't like it. It confused the hell out of me. The thing that confused me the most, though, was how I stayed awake through the whole thing. I love Sean Connery and I love Catherine Zeta-Jones, but seriously, what were they thinking? I can't believe I paid money to see a sixty plus year old man ogle a thirty year old. Also, it was way too predictable. Oh my god, she's a spy, too! I didn't see *that* coming! Honestly, if you're looking for a good movie, don't see this one. It's a waste of time. But this is just my opinion. If you wanna see it, go ahead. But don't say I didn't warn you.

The Rainmaker (1997)
all i can say is "amazing"
7 January 2000
In reviewing this movie, I should start by saying that the acting is wonderful. Whether he plays a psychopath or a friendly lawyer, Matt Damon has never ceased to amaze me. And Danny DeVito was perfect as Deck Shefflet. He manages to reach extents that most actors are afraid or unable to reach. Though the topic of this movie is serious, DeVito puts the fun, not so innocent humor into the film. Claire Danes is excellent as the sweet, insecure abuse victim. The entire cast is great, but even if they were the worst actors to set foot on this earth, the movie would still be good. Bravo! Encore!

The Matrix (1999)
The "guy movie" that is also "girl friendly"
22 December 1999
After seeing advertisements for "The Matrix", I thought, "TOTAL guy movie." But after hours of pestering and tormenting from my older brother, I sat down to watch it. Yes, it was a "guy movie" but it was very girl friendly. Here's why: 1.) Keanu Reeves. enough said. 2.)Trinity has to be one of the coolest female characters I've ever seen. 3.) Well, the movie just rocks. But you have to really pay attention to understand it. This isn't a movie that you can get up and go to the bathroom or get a snack during. If you miss a minute, you'll be lost. My mom fell asleep and missed five minutes, and she was confused. If you like action, and you know you'll be able to stay awake, and duty doesn't call, this is a must see.

Lost & Found (I) (1999)
not one of David Spade's best works, but a really good movie
22 December 1999
I saw this movie just recently, and despite bad reviews and such, I thought it was pretty good. I will add, though, that I dont't think I'd go so far as to say it's worthy of an oscar nomination. So, if you're looking for a romantic comedy, that includes a dog, a very pretty lady, and a short, smart alecky comedian, "Lost and Found" is a good choice.

The Cure (1995)
10/10
the best movie
3 November 1999
If you see only one movie, this is the one to see. It's one of those heartwarmers, about two friends trying to find a cure for AIDS. The best thing about this movie is that it's got some comedy, and it's also sad, if you're into sad movies (which I am ^_^) The acting is also great. I've seen this movie fifteen times, and I still cry when Eric gives Dexter his sneaker to help him get to sleep. This is the best movie I've ever seen. ^_^

Odd Man Out (1999–2000)
my opinion
31 October 1999
This show is okay; good enough to make me stay home on a friday night. The show itself is kinda dumb. The only reason I watch is Keith. Admit it, if he wasn't on the show, it would probably suck. Even the title character is boring. You would think that since he lives with four women, he'd have a clue, right? Trevor Fehrman is great as Andrew's best friend, keith, though. I loved the halloween episode when he was dressed as a bug. maybe if the sisters were a little more believeable, the show would be really great. but for now, I'll keep watching, being loyal to my man, keith.
