The Matrix (1999)

Another World !!!

The Matrix, takes you to another world, or should I say another LEVEL. The movie brings out the same old question : FATE!! Is everyone in control of himself, or is another external force controlling us.>

Neo (Keanu Reeves) is off to find the answer. Suddenly he finds himself in this very cool, action packed movie : " The Matrix" . He has to face Ai-men (Artificial Intelligence) that can take over the life of any human and capture his body.

One of the best scenes in this movie was when Neo faces one of the Ai-men and has to maneuver bullets on a rooftop of a skyscraper. Very cool and sharp visual effects were applied in this great movie.

Also very cool character performed by Laurence Fishburne.>

That movie is a must see. 10/10.

Face/Off (1997)

ONE OF THE GREATEST !!!

Ok, Speaking of this magnificent movie, we can say that it is by far, one of the best movies you'll ever see.

* Stars: Splendid and Outrageous acting by both legends : John Travolta (Sean Archer) and Nicolas Cage (Castor Troy). They make you believe them in both roles (Good and Evil). It takes a lot of effort to act as a good-guy and as a bad-guy in the same movie and yet be perfect and convincing at both roles.

* Story: A wonderful story that implements the inner most feelings of good and evil. You can see that when you see how Sean Archer treats Castor Troy's son. And how Castor Troy feels towards his younger brother.

* Directing: The film was directed by the talented director : John Woo (director of Broken Arrow. also starring John Travolta). It seems that Travolta & John Woo form a very good team.

* Best Shots: 1- When Sean Archer wakes up after the face-switching operation and finds that he has the face of his enemy Castor Troy, and he asks them to burn it after the missions ends.

2- The other best shot was after they switched faces. When they both meet , where each one of them is looking in the mirror seeing the face of the other. This part reveals the deep hatred that each one of them feels towards the other.

Ok That is all , This movie is a must see and it deserves 10 out of 10 . I never get tired of watching it on video.

The Godfather Part II (1974)

THE BEST MOVIE EVER !!!

There isn't much to say about this movie.

The Godfather Part 2 is above all comments or votes.

It is the best you'll ever see. Perfect Stars, Perfect Acting, Perfect Story, Perfect Directing, Perfect Sound Track .

You won't believe it until you see it. Don't waste your time reading comments (even this one haha :o), Go ahead and rent it, Then you will find yourself buying all three parts, and keeping them for good.

The Beloved Diva (1967)

A good romantic and musical movie

Mabodet El Gamahir, is a very good story about a famous actress/singer Shadia, that falls in love with a young singer Abdel Halim that is not very famous, but love knows no barrier.

They decide to get married, but on the day of the wedding an unfaithful friend of the actress sends another woman to her, that tells her lies about her lover. She believes that her lover was married to another woman and had 3 children from her. So she decides to leave him for ever. BUT....will the young singer surrender to that lies..or will he fight in order to win back his only love.

Very good performance and singing by the very famous actor/artist Abdel Halim Hafez. And also leading performance by the famous actress/artist Shadia.

Saladin (1963)

One of the best movies ever

El Nasser Salah ElDine is the true story about Saladdin, It reveals how Saladdin was one of the greatest leaders of all time.

Saladdin battled in order to gain Bayt El Makdes (Jerusalem), and he did not prevent the christians from visiting it at any time.

But false news is told to King Richard -Lion Heart- that Saladdin is torturing the christians and that he is preventing them from entering Bayt ElMakdes.

Then King Richard along with King of France and several other countries form a very vast army, that aims to free Bayt El Makdes from the rule of Saladdin. What will happen next.........You better see the movie.

Excellent performance by Ahmed Mazhar (Saladdin) and Hamdi Geiss (Richard Lion Heart) and very good directing by Yussef Chahine.

This movie is a must see.

Indecent Proposal (1993)

Very Romantic.....Very Touching

Indecent proposal, is not an ordinary story about two lovers who face some problems in their life, but it reflects how deep love can make the young couple (Demi Moore & Woody Harrelson) overcome any obstacle in their life.

And we are not just talking about any ordinary obstacle here, we are talking about a millionaire (Robert Redford) that takes advantage of the couple's money problem and offers Woody Harrelson a million dollars if he lets him spend one night with his wife.

What will happen next....................!!!!! This movie is one you should never miss, go ahead and rent it now.

I like this movie very very much, and I just couldn't stop my tears from running down at the final scene of the movie.

Addicted to Love (1997)

All Mixed Up Lovers...........

Addicted to love is a very good movie that speaks about the fact that not all lovers are very sure that they really want each other (You might be thinking of someone else !!!).

Starring the very very lovely and beautiful actresses : Meg Ryan & Kelly Preston, The are really good in this movie and I actually loved them a lot. (I think everybody does). Also starring the cutest guy in town : Matthew Broderick.

This is an adorable movie that will be remembered.

Don Juan DeMarco (1994)

Love, Love, Love ...and True Love

The idea about this movie is showing how great love can be. And there is none other than Don Juan De Marco that can express the true and deep emotions of lovers. Don Juan De Marco is by far, the best romantic movie ever. I adore this movie very much, and actually I find that Don Juan De Marco's character is very similar to mine, and I learned much from this wonderful movie.

So, to all of you out there who are hopeless romantic and need help in how to treat your women, you've got to watch this adorable film, and you better not watch it alone (go ahead and make it up to your girlfriend and invite her to watch the movie with you).

Very good acting done by Johnny Depp, he makes you believe that he is really Don Juan De Marco, the world's greatest lover of all time. Also Marlon Brando played a very good character (Dr. Mickler the psychiatrist).

Finally, the movie has a touch of comedy that accompanies most of the romantic scenes. You find yourself at the end of the movie simply crying with tears of joy. This movie is sure 10 out of 10 (and even more).

The Flintstones (1994)

A Great Cartoon and surely A Cool Movie!!!

If you've seen the cartoon...........If you were raised up on watching it daily..........If YOU LOVED IT.... Then you must surely see this cool movie, It brings back all childhood memories of The Flint Stones Cartoon.

John Goodman is one of the funniest men on earth. :0) He fits the Fred Flintstone character perfectly.

You've Got Mail (1998)

Romantic Comedy

You've got mail !!!!! We all get happy when we read or hear those three magic words: "You've got mail". Some hearts just leap with joy on hearing them, but not as much as the cute and lovely Kathleen Kelly (Meg Ryan), when she receives an e-mail from Joe Fox (Tom Hanks).

This movie implements the deep emotions of net-friends. Some people become very close friends through chatting and e-mails, without even seeing each other. BUT... Imagine when two net-friends fall in love with each other and decide to meet. The only problem is that these two best friends are the worst of enemies, since they both own bookstores on the same street, and only one of them will succeed (Guess Who :o) Imagine how each one of them fancies the other, and imagine what will happen when they discover the truth. Will they remain friends or not?? This movie is one you will never forget.

Armageddon (1998)

Very Good, funny, but the story is not so good

Ok, If you're looking for a cool, action-packed, entertaining movie with excellent sound effects and soundtrack.......You have found it.

But the idea of a bunch of untrained-fools, that are off to save the world, is pretty stupid. The world's fate can not be put in the hand of a group of DIGGERS :0) However, this is a very good movie that will be remembered for sometime.

A weird thing is that another movie : "Deep Impact" has almost the same story. Comparing the two movies : "Armageddon" & "Deep Impact", we can say that Deep Impact is more scientific, dramatic, and realistic. But Armageddon is surely more entertaining.
