Entertaining Angels: The Dorothy Day Story (1996)

Entertaining Angels goes through the hard life of the converted Catholic Workers Movement leader Dorothy Day, portrayed by the extremely talented Moira Kelly. This movie is great even for people who don't know who Dorothy Day is. This movie is very excellent. If you like this movie you will probably like the Emmy nominated CBS movie Joan of Arc ( Peter O'Toole and Leelee Sobieski), and the Zeffirelli film Brother Sun, Sister Moon.

Jesus of Nazareth accurately and excellently portrays the life of the greatest man ever to live, Jesus Christ. With the very talented Franco Zeffirelli as director, the all-star cast accurately, beautifully, and powerfully goes through the entire life of Christ, and you end up thinking you are watching the life of Christ.Like Zeffirelli's other works, Jesus of Nazareth is a true masterpiece.

Brother Sun, Sister Moon (1972)

Brother Sun, Sister Moon is an excellent movie with it's share of powerful scenes. Amazing acting, wonderful directing, and the beautiful setting of Assisi (shot on location) the movie goes through the beginning ministry life of St. Francis of Assisi and his comrade St. Clare of Assisi.

Joan of Arc (1999)

Powerful! A superb story!Excellent acting!Leaves you in tears!

This story of St. Joan of Arc is the best ever. It has a fantastic script, outstanding all star cast of actors, great acting, careful attention to details of the time period, and a very accurate portrayal of this legendary girl's life.

This movie has a very serious, powerful side that shows through the whole series with a thin layer of clever humor spread throughout; there are almost no boring scenes. This movie has been nominated for an Emmy. A must see.
