Comedian Bert Kreischer is sticking with Netflix, signing with the streamer to film two more stand-up comedy specials. This reps the fourth and fifth specials for Kreischer at Netflix, following “Razzle Dazzle” (2023), “Hey Big Boy” (2020), and “Secret Time” (2018).
The first of the two specials will be filmed by Kreischer at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg, Fla., on July 6. It’s a homecoming of sorts for Kreischer, who grew up in nearby Tampa (where he most recently sold out the Amalie Arena in February 2023). Kreischer’s Florida bonafides include attending Florida State University, where he was infamously dubbed the “Number One Partier in the Nation” by Rolling Stone in 1997.
Kreischer will exec produce the new specials along with LeeAnn Kreischer, Judi Marmel, Tony Hernandez, Jeff Tomsic and Jordan Levy. Tomsic is also the director, while Kreischer’s Berty Boy Prods. is behind the specials.

Released early in 1972, a time when concept albums were regularly being delivered to record stores, The Ballad of Calico checked all the boxes. Narrative storyline with songs sung in the voices of characters? Check. Cover packaging that made it look more like a scrapbook than an album? Check. Accompanying booklet laying out the concept? Check. Symphonic fanfare that opens the album and is reprised at the end? Check. All of it spread over two LPs, just like Tommy and Jesus Chris Superstar? Double check.
