NFL Chicago Bears footbal star Shaun Gayle was a veteran player who never married but did lead more than an active life with more than a dozen women in his little black book that he had been in on-going romantic relationships with at different times over the past few years. One of his longest romantic relationships was with a woman named Rhoni Reuter who he had been seeing for almost two decades when she suddenly became preganant. Shaun Gayle appeared o be outwardly happy with the news of him becoming a father soon and he told his parents as such the good news.
Rhoni Reuters was seven (7) months pregnant when she answered the door to her condominium on October 04th, 2007, when she was instantly shot multiple times both in the abdomen and in the head dying instantly. A neighbor witnessed someome running away after the shots were fired and told the police she thought the shooter was wearing all black, and also appeared to be a black man. For obvious reasons the police's prime suspect was foortball legend Shaun Gayle who also was the father of Rhoni Reuter's soon to be baby.
Gradually the police gathered sufficient evidence to prove who the murderer was and why a woman named Marni Yang committed the murder. The story is told completely through the voice of a narrator and Shaun Gayle does not contribute with any (police) interview throughout the episode, but convicted murderer Matni Yang does.
