TRUE BLOOD MEETS TWILIGHT

Jessica reads in the paper that a murder has taken place in Devils Bend; a small town where practically everyone knows everyone (with a few strays). Although it shocks the community, Jessica is determined not to give in to her fears when she is suddenly jumped by a vampire with her hero saving the day!! After an invitation to train as a vampire Hunter, Jessica falls for a coworker going through hard times. The plot thickens as she realizes the coworker is anything but a normal guy but actually the leader of a pack. After her dog assumingely killed after the door left open, Jessica's life starts falling apart. She catches her new boyfriend with his ex. Jessica ultimately falls for the good guy Rayce who is challenged by bad guy ex. The story is about Jessica, her relationship with the towns people and discovering who she really. Episode 1-2 were screwed up after Abigail Stewart (the lead) walked out after being pre-paid to finish during the beginning of Covid. We had to piece it together losing key elements of the first 2 episodes. I was able to piece together the fight scene in the bar at the beginning of episode 8 by using the footage we had and implementing the body doubles like a flash back sequence. It worked pretty well. Stephen Waldrop also walked out, they all broke their NDAs and it was shocking. Still we did the best we could and I hope you enjoy it knowing why some elements are off.

I wish there was a season 2

This was really cool and I loved it! I can see all my favorite characters in the Hunting Series books coming to life, plus I love the new characters. Brandie and Charlie are so much fun. Neat seeing Newkirk, Oklahoma as Devils Bend. Great seeing CharRons bar as The Watchdog. I think everyone did a super job and I'm going to watch this over and over. Thank you for making my favorite book series into a cool show. Lisa did a great job and I really like the look of the show. It's dark like that show Sabrina. Really hope season 2 comes out even if they have to use new actors and actresses. It's cool. Keep doing your thing Lisa.
