An interesting look at the rise of social conservatism
I don't think that Elizabeth Banks as Jill Ruckelshaus is given as much good material as some of the other actresses in this show. However, she does do a good job and gets a couple pretty strong conversation moments. CIndy Drummond does an excellent job as Texan ultraconservative Lottie Beth Hobbs.

The best part of this episode is that it looks at the period of time where the Republican party started to become the party of social conservativism. It is interesting to see a time when several Republicans could hold positions that would be considered too liberal for the party today.

Good insights worth a watch!

Warning: Spoilers
Jill is not given the best lines of the show but she makes the most of it!

I find Shirley the most interesting of them all. She really cares and I am horrified at how bad things were for the secretaries at the Hill. That's worse than I had imagined. "Asking about oral sexual in interviews?"

We owe so much to the feminist movement.
