More plot developments.

We are on the fourth episode and while the endless chasing game between the zombies and the pack lead by our Crown Prince, it's good to take note that the writing has finally made a leap on the political facet of the story. One good thing on this show is how the politics plays a role on the story, a substantial one, that with an underlying important idea and makes it different from the crowded zombie-genre. Still, I have technical problems, things sometimes get shaky and flaccid.

Not much happens.

Story barely progress. But the action scene is great. Although there might be a little plot armor.

This episode is not really bad, but we are not moving anywhere.

The King Is Dead, Long Live the King!

Prince Chang sees the boat living Moo Young and the poor people behind and commands them to run to seek out protection in Jiyulheon. On the next morning, the soldiers from Cho Hak Joo arrive and put the group under siege, but Prince Chang, Moo Young and the survivors defend themselves. Prince Chang and Moo Young decide to seek out Lord Ahn Hyun to help him since the King was resurrected. Meanwhile Cho Hak Joo does not respect the Queen's order and bring the defense council to see the King saying that he is sick to press them.

The fourth episode of "Kingdom" shows the fate of the nobles in the boat that left Dongnae. The ambition of the cruel Cho Hak Joo does not have limit and now that he learns that his son is dead will make him more dangerous to Prince Chang and his followers. My vote is eight.

Still good, but we're not really moving forward

We've come to the fourth episode of the new Korean Zombie series. It's sadly the point where things are getting a little bit repetitive, as most of the stuff happening we've already seen.

While the show looks gorgeous, has some sort of unique vibe to it and mostly exceeds in the zombie action, I still think it lacks depth in character and substance. Maybe it's my fault but I sometimes struggle to not mistake certain characters for others. It's missing a bit of substance as many plot points or directions are getting obvious to predict.

I still praise the last scene of the episode where we see the king as a full fleshed out zombie and then create a new main villain in the process. Otherwise I hope the next 2 episodes are a bit clearer, have a bit more focused direction and screenplay.
