Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Soldiers are tasked with exterminating pets left behind by evacuees. Most of the killing is done off-screen or is shown from a distance, but there are a handful of close-up shots (a dog wounded by gunshot, cat and dog bodies being dumped into a mass grave). These scenes make up the majority of the episode and can be very upsetting for animal lovers.
  • A main character's baby dies hours after birth (we learn that it had absorbed most of the radiation that the mother was exposed to). We only see the mother sitting next to an empty crib at a hospital, but it may still be upsetting to some viewers.
