This episode features Marco remembering that he and Star had their souls bound (or as he finds out cursed) when they danced under the Blood Moon Ball in the first season. They find a magic stone that can break the curse. The only downside is that they'll forget the time they had together dancing. Janna is featured pretty prominently here too. It's great to see Star, Marco, Tom, and Janna altogether! I will admit this didn't seem that necessary for a full half hour episode. The important thing is that Star and Marco are transported back to their memory.
Right before the curse is broken, Star comments that maybe they did have legitimate romantic feelings for each other after all. It just seems kind of weird to have them forget their dance. I mean, they remember everything else! I found out that Marco's voice actor wants them to get together but Star's voice actress doesn't! Well, Star is based on creator Daron Nefcy and Marco is based on her husband! We know Marco will get the girl one way or another. ***1/2
