Boris's plans to send two stainless steel hawks to kill Rocky go awry when some of Bullwinkle's dumb luck saves the day. We also find out why Boris is doing what he is doing--he has an ulterior motive. Our extras include Fractured Fairy Tales "The Teeth of Baghdad," where a set of false teeth determine who the real ruler is (sort of a sword in the stone with bicuspids). Peabody's Improbable History presents "The Marquis of Queensbury," who needs Peabody's direction to create rules for competitive boxing.

When giving serious consideration to the middle segment . . .

. . . of this television show episode--namely, BULLWINKLE'S CORNER: SING A SONG OF SIXPENCE, aka Superfluous Repeat #8--viewers need to ask themselves "How much money are they talking about, in terms of Today's dollars and cents?" A numismatist may argue that this conundrum cannot be discussed without knowing the dates and conditions of the half dozen British pennies under discussion. On the other hand, a banker may contend that it all depends upon the exchange rate in effect for American and English monetary units during the applicable time period. My two scents worth is that the subject matter of this ditty does not amount to a hill of lima beans.
