An experimental movie with a monotonous screenplay!
ConfusedRoulette23 December 2018
After the recent gem of a film "Aa Karaala Raathri", Dayal Padmanabhan's new film has JK in the lead again. The movie begins with JK (Jayaram Karthik) a police investigator knocking at writer NK (Naveen Krishna)'s doorstep to interrogate him about NK's wife's murder. What ensues is a long conversation between only these 2 characters until the interval. The dialogues in the film are brilliant and JK delivers them impeccably! However, almost the entire screenplay focuses only between JK & NK which at some point becomes monotonous and you will feel irritated! The other characters are shown at the fag end of the film and by that time it is too late! At many points, the direction looks old-fashioned and amateurish. Finally what's the mystery behind this puta (page) and who murdered NK's wife? This is shown in the climax, but the audience will be already knowing the culprit by that time! All in all, you can watch this movie if you are JK's fan or an experimental movie buff.
