As a friend of Olsen, I sorta went into this film a bit blindly. Seeing his previous films, I knew I was in for some sort of strange gross out trip but I was still unaware. Once I saw it, I chuckled, rolled my eyes, and even gagged a little. All with the best intentions. Olsen has proved that he's got a keen skill for the weird, and his truly peculiar and off-color film does weird well, feeling much like a callback to early John Waters films.
