The German version of the series of books about the psychologist Joe McLaughlin, here renamed to Dr Johannes Jessen. Living and working in Hamburg he helps the police with his opinions and assessment in several cases which were adapted and transformed into German versions of the plots! These series, starting with the first book by Robotham, Adrenalin, in English it is The Suspect, followed by Amnesia, both films are only 90 minutes long, the German standard for crime-stories and real nail-biters! A pity for English viewers, as the DVD versions do not have English subtitles. Worthwhile watching!

But either you hae been more traumatized and damaged by events or maybe just suffer selective memory loss. doing the same thing over and over expecting a different outcome? how long have been working with the police to have so little of crime scene protocol to have breached your mind and establish residence? but then again, if you didn't repeatedly make these rookie mistakes, the show would only be 30min.
