Some idiot wrote a two star review saying "What bloody Gulag is he ralking about??? Gulag in Ukraine???- go through the history!"

The first gulag was in Poland. The Soviet Union controlled the Ukraine and it's prison featured in this episode. Go read history, or better yet, stay offline forever.

Brilliant representation of Ukraine

I am citizen of Ukraine. Usually people don't understand situation in our country (mostly because of Russian propaganda).

Revolution of Dignity changed a lot, and the most important is how valuable life of a person became, even if he/she commited a terrible crime. This is why prisoners have so much freedom. However, we have a problem with Russia, as their government does't want to have it's power taken away. This is the reason why they started a war in 2014 and invasion in 2022.

In 2016, when this show was filmed, we had really big problems. Our economy was ruined bocause of war and losing territories. But situation became better. I'm sure that now prison has not as small budget as then.
