So, currently all caught up on Netflix's 7 Deadly sins and quite frankly I'm surprised I enjoyed it so much. After taking a while to initially get on board with the concept I'm now completely swept away by what has been amazing character and fantastic story. That said however this season does have a few issues, mainly regarding contrivances with certain characters being deliberately sidelined or written in a wooden manner which makes it hard to particularly enjoy their respective arcs. Additionally the battle sequence of the last 4 or 5 episodes is vastly undercut by the ending, which suggests the heroes have indeed not made any real progression against the Commandments l. That said there's clear positives in how character is handled with Meliodas in particular receiving a large treatment of attention, crafting a layered and detailed backstory and by proxy of such creating a plot point for season 4 (and possibly beyond). In all very action packed and ridiculously entertaining but does have a few downfalls of disappointment
