Entertaining but not fantastic

I must say, I was intrigued watching this, it kept my attention. A couple deciding/trying to conceive. A little ho hum, but worth a look at if you've got time to kill. What annoyed me though (as is with a LOT of cinema), the producer/director was happy to show the female form, naked & in all its beautiful glory, however, when it came to showing a full frontal male, they hid his genitals. WHY?? Why must we keep doing this on film? They're happy to fully expose women, but not men. It's just another way women are exploited in cinema. ALL forms are beautifully equal, show them ALL please!

UnHollywood version of coupling
safenoe29 November 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Josephine Decker and Turkish-American hirsute Onur Tukel star in The Man and the Baby and the Man, and it's quite explicit even for HBO standards, with pretty much both going full monty (although still, as estrickland-649-555159 commented, the producers were still shy to go beneath Onur's waist, so yes a double standard there.).

Anyway, the depiction of coupling are pretty much the UnHollywood version that you see, so on the one hand you see Michael Douglas's cop in Basic Instinct gritting his teeth during the beast with two backs and near perfect rhythmic thrusting, but in The Man and the Baby and the Man you see Onur's reaction more honestly and clumsily real.

Wow! You finally decided you want to make a baby!

This episode 7 from season 2 of the "HBO" series "Room 104" called "The Man and the Baby and the Man" is one that's blunt and very provocative it shows nudity really in a very plenty way! And the sex and love making pushes the envelope even for "HBO" in today's standards. Pretty simple story a man and a woman enter and share a room together that being 104 and all of a sudden after meeting they decided to make out and have sex. Plus the moment is all recorded and it takes a little bit of convincing for the man to go for it and make a baby. Overall blunt episode with skin and nudity it proves it's point to enjoy sex and try to make a life!

Feel Free to Skip This One

A typical episode of "Room 104" is about twenty-five minutes long. This one is only about twenty-two. So it's saying something that this episode is so bad that I couldn't even bear to finish it. The reason is extremely simple. It has way too much nudity.

Nudity never helps any movie or show, yet nudity isn't shunned, at all, in this short episode.

The first time they started showing nudity, I do what I often do. I skipped a little bit, hoping to get to the next non-nude scene. However, with this little episode, that's almost impossible to do, since the entire episode seems to be nearly nothing but sex and naked bodies. It wasn't long before I finally just gave up, and turned it off.

Maybe this episode has some sort of twist, or point. A lot of "Room 104" episodes do. However, for me, it's not worth it to figure out what it is. Is it too much to ask that people keep their clothes on?

I don't recommend this episode to anyone. It's likely to only appeal to those who want to see sex and naked people, or for those who have no problem watching such things. Unless you fit into that category, you're better off just skipping this one.
