S02E05 (only a 9 because I don't believe in 10)

I liked this show. It was good and unique. It always kept my attention. There's always been a few holes that I really didn't like and one actor I didn't care for. Then I saw season 2 episode 5. I can't believe they could produce such a good episode mid season like that. The tension was incredible. The twists were amazing and unforeseen. The drama was thick. The reveals were amazing (dang used that word twice). My wife doesn't watch it and nobody else I know does so I have nobody to talk about how good this episode was. Hole's be dammed. The actor I didn't like is now one of my favorites. This episode was as good any season finale and it's mid season.

Warning: Spoilers
A really strong episode of Counterpart here. Other than the bizarre sequence where Peter was calling home whilst his wife was shagging another this was action-packed, had some good twists and set the stage for a good rest of the season.

This is Counterpart at its best.

They're All Human

This is an outstanding episode. Things are going off the rails. The center cannot hold (to quote a great poet). Because both sides have human beings who are of the same ilk, it is really hard to herd them up. But each side keeps trying and what's the endgame. Moving on. Can't wait.

Another Shadow

'Shadow Puppets' would be a perfect episode to start a season, or it could be a magnificent final. Yet, we got such a high tension chapter in the middle of the season. And it was about time. The previous episode predicted that things are now rolling full speed, but the show has proven before that after one terrific episode there comes another quite dull one. I liked the slow-moving first season (although it occasionally dragged too much even for my taste) but after the quite slow start for the second season, I started to become a little bit impatient. Now the ring around the Indigo has drawn closer, another sleeper has been revealed, and it seems there is enough corruption in bots worlds' agencies, we now have no time for overlong discussions about anyone's past. 'Shadow Puppets' was great because it managed to keep everything in balance.
