Commencement

Warning: Spoilers
I felt like they could have made better storylines for Mitch and Jay here. Otherwise, while this episode might have just breezed by without a "climax", it was great idea to have Haley and Luke inspire Alex to join the graduation and not the elders giving more wisdom. A fresh perspective.

It might not be as well-written and crafty as the other episodes but I still love seeing then them all together in an episode.

And contrary to some beliefs, I still think the show is good up to this point.

Great fun once again!

I thought this was a fun episode, with all of the storylines working.

Despite what others have said, I think the quality of this 10th series has been strong on the whole, and this is another example of that.

There were some very funny moments here.

Why the hate? It made me laugh hard!

I don't understand the hate. In my opinion the episode was and exaggeration of each character and had me laughing throughout the entire episode. I admit that it had some not-so-great moments, but I ultimately felt very satisfied with the episode. And my mood was really bad when I started the episode so it gave it extra points haha

I had a great laugh!

This episode is absolutely hilarious. Cam was a delight, I lost it when he started auction-calling the graduate's names and had to slow down because of the Polish names😭😭😭

Worth the watch

Warning: Spoilers
This is solid episode for sure. There are a few slow spots, and some plot points that are not quite as on point comedy wise as some other episodes, but definitely worth watching.

This episode is worth the watch simply for the things that go wrong at the graduation.

Cam is so desperate for everything to be perfect since he is in charge of the graduation ceremony, but it's just one disaster after another. The most hilarious moment being when he reads the names auctioneer-style to try to get them all in before the sabotaged sprinklers turn on the crowd. The episode is worth the watch just for that!

Simply a bad episode.....
AgeOfAquarius13 May 2019
This is probably the dumbest episode for Modern Family to ever air. Everything was forced and just over the top. Every joke was painful to watch than the previous and watching the characters just look stupid was annoying. The show is getting worn out and showing age but this season hasn't been that bad until this episode.

Horrible!
I have never given a bad review for any Modern Family episode, until today. This wasn't just bad, it was an abomination. What was anyone thinking when producing this episode?! The writing was horrible, and the acting - everyone comes off as tired and tried. I don't even think the actors want to be apart of this show anymore. Many have given up on this show, long time viewers. I never understood that until I saw this episode. Watching this episode will leave you wondering what you ever saw it Modern Family, as it doesn't even leave you missing the older seasons; it just leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth and wanting your 30 minutes back, though wondering how the commercials during the commercials breaks were more entertaining and memorable.

A very generous 3

This episode was absolute garbage...in other words...typical back end MF episode.

Gloria...awful.

Joe...if he's in it, fairly good chance it's a bad episode.

Jay. Eh. He's had worse story lines. Don't get me wrong. His was stupid...but not the worst.

Cam...the announcer thing was funny...butbof course that was simply a set up for the names. Eh.

Was Alex even in this episode that was about her?

What else? Oh. Again...Mitch and trumpet...strictly a set up for a lame ass joke.

Was funny when he just gave up though.

This episode would be a great companion piece to an earlier episode...to show to people u familiar with the show.

Earlier episode for the upside of the show.

This episode for the atrocity that this show becomes.

My ratings are based on the desire or ability to watch again. Anything below a 6...no need to waste your time.

So this being a 3....watch it once just to say you've seen every episode. But if it comes on rerun....pass.
