The best view of the Himalayas and its remote people

There have been many great documentaries about the Himalayas but none compare to this. 'Walking the Himalayas' is not another white guy climbing a mountain with a 'pack' of sherpas. Instead, Levinson Wood, my favourite explorer, shows the best of people in the worst places.

Afghanistan isn't just a war, Kashmir isn't inaccessible, Nepal isn't unknown, Kathmandu doesn't have to be a mystery and Bhutan isn't only the 'happiest country'.

Lev took me to wonders at heights that my asthma previously could only imagine.

True Travel documentary, Awesome work !!!

Really loved the documentry. It covers more than 4 countries travel and that too shot in rural areas. Its unique as commonly prime locations are covered by documentaries but thus one covers unseen stuff too. The main character of thus show even risked his life and underwent major arm surgery in middle of his journey. Thanks to him for managing and completing it after recovery. You know what really stunning about this show is that entire journey covering 5 countries was done just on foot by walking.

Really awesome stuff, gonna recommend others also to watch it. Isaw it on discovery plus app.

What an adventurous video. Worth to watch indeed. Himalayas is always my favorite. I like all the episodes so much. Hope someday I can visit that route. How one person can travel such mountains by walking only. This video gave us so many knowledge and inspiration to leave our live positively. We got multi cultural experience from this program. Thanks to all the cast and crews for presenting us this wonderful program. In your next videos you may include the following routes: Asian Highway-1 Stillwell Road Silk Route.

I like to rate it 10 out of 10. It really needs hard works in true sense. A little irresponsibility may cause dangerous situations.
