“Access Hollywood” executive producer Mauren Fitzpatrick will be leaving the show after four years, two individuals with knowledge told TheWrap.
Fitzpatrick began helming the NBC entertainment newsmagazine franchise in 2019, taking over running both the taped show and “Access Live” as longtime EP Rob Silverstein exited after 20 years in the position.
Fitzpatrick’s departure follows the exit of production executive Justin Batey, who served as senior executive in charge of production.
Fitzpatrick and Batey’s reasons for the exiting NBCUniversal are unknown at this time. An NBCU representative declined to comment for this article. We were unable to reach Fitzpatrick and Batey for comment.
First joining the franchise as a consultant in early 2018, Fitzpatrick helped develop several concepts and pilots for NBCUniversal’s syndication division, including overseeing development and pilot production for syndicated series “Judge Jerry” and managing development and production for Oxygen’s “Crime Time” pilot.

Rob Silverstein is leaving as executive producer of NBC’s “Access Hollywood” entertainment newsmagazine franchise. He will be replaced by Maureen FitzPatrick.
FitzPatrick will now steer both the nationally syndicated daily entertainment news program “Access” and the daily one-hour syndicated entertainment news talk show “Access Live.” FitzPatrick has previously worked on Judge Judy’s “Hot Bench,” “Daily Blast Live,” “Whose Line Is It Anyway?,” “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and “The Dating Game.”
“Over the past several months we have been discussing the creative direction of ‘Access’ and ‘Access Live,'” Silverstein said in an internal memo. “My vision of the show moving forward differs from the management team, so we have agreed today will be my final day as Ep.”

Happy Tuesday and Merry Christmas, fellow Big Brother fans. We've got some more news from a couple of Big Brother alumni in this latest article. As we previously reported, former Big Brother seasons 11 and 13 houseguest Jeff Shroeder recently landed a new gig on a show called the Daily Blast Live, which is a pretty popular daytime talk show that airs nationally here in the United States. Well, the Daily Blast Live recently did a cute, little Christmas video segment with Jeff and his wife. I'm sure most of you know who Jeff's wife is. It's none other than Jordan Lloyd (now Shroeder), the winner of Big Brother season 11. She also competed with Jeff in season 13, and actually made final four again that year. Anyways, the Daily Blast Live's special Christmas segment with them, featured Jeff revealing a special thing that they do for the Christmas holidays. Hey, fellow "Big Brother" fans. We've got some great news for all of you Jeff Schroeder fans out there. I'm sure some of you guys are wondering where in the hell did Jeff run off to after he stopped hosting the CBS Big Brother talk shows and interview segments. All the details of that are still not fully clear, but what we do know is he's now working somewhere else. He's currently hosting a new, daytime entertainment show called the Daily Blast Live. Honestly, I had never hard of it before now, but I don't watch a lot of daytime television. So, that may be why. Upon further research, we discovered that the Daily Blast Live is a pretty big show. It airs all over the country on various CBS, ABC and NBC affiliate stations depending on which city and state you live in. For instance, here in Dallas, Texas,...
