I am not sure what to make of this season. I don't know if Janelle Monae is equipped to lead a show so heavy on her role like this, but I am intrigued. It felt like an old school episode of TV. I just hope the mystery gets explained prior to the finale.

So far this season isn't that great... this episode was extremely boring and hardly anything happened to progress the story forward. Not a great start, but we'll see if it gets better.

Blew threw season 2 in no time. I was hooked! I really hope there is a season 3!!! I heard it was in negotiations. A lot gets explained that was left unanswered in season one. Plus, the ideas being thrown around for next season must be pretty interesting because I just finished binging and my imagination is going wild. Just can't wait to see the aftermath.

The direction is insulting to the original and the audience. The music is overwhelming and manipulative...I swear I heard Jaws. An awful, dumb-downed script too. You sure this shouldn't be on the CW?!? Poor Monae. Poor me.

Designated Survivor

I enjoyed "Designated Survivor" through two seasons, and then it suffered the same fate as "Homecoming", filthy and foul language which adds absolutely NOTHING to an otherwise decent script. 😡

I loved the first season! I got 18 minutes into the first episode of Season 2, and turned it off. First of all, the more F words you add to a show, doesn't make it better. Stupid unnecessary language. The writing feels nothing like the first season at all. It was clever - this was just boring. I consider the first season a stand alone. Will not be watching season 2.

Flat as a pancake

I watched up to episode 4 before giving up so this is by way of a warning I suppose. Nowhere near as good as Series 1 and just meanders around in an aimless manner. Couldn't be bothered with the plot, such as it is, mediocre acting, in fact mediocre everything. It reminded me of the experience I had trying to watch Killing Eve, which I also gave a thumbs down.

Season 1 was much much better. The main actor Alex is so poor and you can feel she's playing or acting poor. The director clearly did a poor job.

Terrible, dumb down, mediocre script doesn't even begin to describe this monstrosity. Should have stuck to one season. F 'd up a good show.
