The family watches television and a romantic movie comes up. The song "What We Did" comes on and it sounds amazing...so romantic and slow. Sue asks Frank to go to the drive-in theatre. She asks him to rub her swollen feet but he excuses himself saying he needs to walk the dog.
While walking the dog he meets a neighbour who overhears him complaining about his wife. The neighbour introduces his Vietnamese wife who he met during the Vietnam War. He invites Frank for a Vietnamese dish called "cao lu". The Vietnamese woman has an accent and does not speak much English.
The whole family and the neighbours go to the drive-in theatre. Maureen asks to use the washroom and Frank orders Bill to go with her. He tells Bill to escort her because there are lots of creeps around.
Frank and the male neighbour get into army talk and get up to buy Sue pizza that she doesn't want.
Frank thanks his neighbour and he tells more about his personal life issues with Sue. The neighbour is kind and offers to help build a new room for the baby saying he built plenty of orphanages in Vietnam. He was able to fill them up too - *cough*.
Sue is furious Frank left her with the Vietnamese woman who is clingy. Sue gets to talking about her problems and cries about her salad tosser idea being taken away from her. The Vietnamese woman speaks with a pretty accurate Vietnamese accent. She tells of her own sad story - her family was shot - and says Sue's story is sad too. Sue realizes how spoiled she is and apologizes, saying she has it all good but complains anyways.
Bill watches the romantic movie and sighs wondering how can a movie with Nazis be so boring. The actress wears a beautiful dress and heels.
Bill stares at the "Women" washroom sign and finally enters. He sees feet and pushes open the stall. There is a plump woman sitting with her pants on the floor so her pubic hair is exposed. She screams quietly for police and turns around showing her hairy bum. Bill screams and Maureen in the next stall asks what his intentions are.
The ending credit song is "What We Did". It sounds heavenly, really, really good for a television show!
