"High tide" left me wondering which directions are writers taking one of my most beloved shows. "Dark secrets" is a very nice example of an enjoyable, yet nothing brand new, episode.
Let's start with good.
. The story here is mostly compelling and with more darkness than I expected(even though the title gives it away). Psychology is a huge deal in "Dark secrets", because it talks about a marine officer committing suicide. So definitely wait for victims character building. This episode also raises an interesting question: how well do we really know our loved ones? Only thinking about the answer makes me scared.
But...
. There are aspects to this episode: an old murder in particular that I personally thought didn't add much new to this dark tale.
Overall, dark and interesting episode.
7/10 HK
