Standard yet compelling introductory

This is honestly my favorite pilot episode to a standard shounen anime that I've ever seen. Naruto was great but could be better. One piece was fine and bleach was also fine. However they all lacked something, and I think that was refining. They all did what they needed to do and nothing more. Black clover connected us to the main character immediately, and made us really feel for him. Also it gave us some immediate themes and a unique fleshed out setting. Great episode.

Better Than Current One Piece

I have only seen first episode. See it yourself and you will realize. Plot is bit like naruto; orphans, handsome strong rival, hokage= wizard king, etc. Till 1st ep. But there is twist at the end, Main Patroginist has more power than 1st Wizard King.
