At a stunning 6 frames per second and sporting a revolutionary resolution of 480p, Rat Movie 2: The Movie is the first step in a new direction for cinema. To call this film meta is an understatement as this film will change your whole perspective on not just cinema but society itself. This film is a must see for everyone and I would go as far as to say that this film should be mandatory in all schools because I truly believe that anyone who watches this will become more intellectually supreme when their eyes are opened to the truth of society that is revealed in this film. Critically acclaimed director Jerma985 challenges your perspective whilst still making a film that is guaranteed to entertain. I think it is also fitting that in a film that will change your perspective, the perspective in this film changes many times. At first, you will feel joy as Michael (played by Jerma985) celebrates his birthday, to the suspense when the perspective changes to the giant rat who must defeat the despicable cat police who have composed a world ending plan. The CGI in this film is unreal and paired with the minimalist cinematography you will not once feel like you are watching a 3D animation. In the hands of any other director, it is hard to imagine a film that is shot as engaging as this. During the scene where Michael watches in horror as the clown murders almost all of his family, Jerma985 resists the temptation to shoot the scene with a crazy shakey cam to exaggerate how crazy the scene is, but instead restricts himself to steady tripod shots. This paired with there being no non-diegetic music in this scene creates a very suspense atmosphere that is much superior to if this scene was shot by any other director. Still, I only give this movie 9/10 because it is nowhere near as good as the quality film making in the first movie.

He did it again

As if the first wasn't enough, Award Winner Jerma985 blesses us with this masterful continuation of the Rat Saga. This movie will be remembered through the ages where Humanity reached its peak when it comes to cinema and film-making.

I am truly disappointed that it got, yet again, snubbed at the Oscars.

A pillar of modern film

Rat Movie 2: The Movie displays Jeremy's incredible range as an actor. Every character has rich and deep lore and are fully developed to provide the most immersive rat-based animated experience on a modern platform.

The movie is just short of full-feature length, but provides several (almost numerous) funny jokes, but packs an unexpected emotional punch through it's unexpected story arcs.

One day we will look back at Rat Movie 2: The Movie and say simply "why".

All I can say is that this changed my view on what a movie can do. I was stuck in a messy divorce with the ex. I needed a bright spot in my life, and I started watching this twice a day. My life is great now. Thank you Jerma. You helped me through this rough spot, and now I can happily say my life has meaning.

The Godfather Part II. The Dark Knight. Gremlins 2. These films stand as some of the greatest sequels ever made. Add to their ranks Rat Movie 2. With a flawless script, groundbreaking cinematography, intricately detailed animation, ingenious musical numbers, an ensemble of pitch perfect performances and the greatest twist in cinema history, this film cements itself as the Citizen Kane of rat-related sequels.

Better than the emoji movie

I can definitively say that this was the best, most touching and heartwarming movie I have ever had the pleasure of viewing. Before watching this absolute masterpiece of a movie, I had been suffering from stage 4 childhood brain cancer and childhood obesity (thanks obama). Now, I can say my life is so much better. My CS:GO iq has jumped to 250, I 360 no scope kids with my eyes closed. I can say, thanks to Jerma, my life truly has meaning.

A marvel of modern film making, showing what can truly be achieved when the medium is sculpted by the hands of a true visionary.

Rat Movie 2: The Movie is an unparalleled masterpiece of cinematic majesty. The voice actor(s) embedded their characters within their souls, channeling the raw emotions and virtues of the rats they voiced. During this film, I no longer saw the boundary between us (humans) and rats. I understood the rat, I felt the rat, I became the rat. If you told me that Jerma985 actually method-acted as a rat during the filming, I would believe you, he captured the essence of the rat soul.

The visual excellence of this film compels me to use a cliche that I normally detest, every frame of this film is a painting. Every single second of Rat Movie 2: The Movie is decadence for the eyes, beautiful, engrossing, complex, slightly erotic, this movie has it all.

The sound track rivals that of Hans Zimmer or John Williams, with masterfully orchestrated score with just enough artistically placed imperfection to bring out the full humanity and Rodentity of the music.

I wish I knew a thousand languages, as just English does not possess enough words to fully describe Rat Movie 2: The Movie .

Seeking to monetize the success of the original, Rat Movie 2 The Movie creates a marketable version of a birthday song, to undercut the monopoly on birthdays that the evil empire of Paul McCartney established in the 1970s Failing to attract some of the stars of the original, the movie levies a cast of unknowns to share this tale of mistrust, jealousy, greed and clowns, Unlike the original which is in serious consideration to be added amongst the 2019 titles added to the National Film Registry. Yet there is charm here. The type of charm only a Jerma production can deliver. That aspect alone is worth repeated viewings in order to decode the mastery of story telling that pervades this production.

Stellar movie , riveting plot points, amazing voice acting ,gorgeous visuals . everything that you could ever like in the movie is in this movie it's on par with avengers endgame. My kids love it. My grandma is the one that showed me this movies. Bless her soul. Would recommend

Hi, im the same 54 year old mom from earlier, with the rat Greg and my lovely children. We all LOVE this movie! We all love rats even MORE now! Everyday we put this on after dinner and we love it! My kids especially enjoy the Finding Nemo reference, they think it was a documentary too! (It was.) I love Rat Movie 2: The Movie (2015) and I will condemn anyone who tries to enter my home who has never heard of it, or doesn't enjoy it. I love rats.

This film has truly changed my life for the better. I will work better on my self. This movie makes me want to become a better person. This is the most inspiring movie all time (next to the original rats movie of course). Jeremy Elbertson is a modern day Alfred Hitchcock if not better. His masterful story telling, along with his charming personality and beautiful singing voice make this movie what it is. There is no movie like the rats movie 2 and there may never be. These movies only come once a decade so we must enjoy this masterpiece before something else casts a shadow over it. Most likely another Jerma movie.

Sequel Lives Up To Masterpiece, Perhaps Surpasses It

It's a common misconception that sequels usually fail to live up to their predecessors. This film proves that wrong. Revolutionary director/voice actor/animator Jerma had done the impossible and crafted a second entry to the Rats saga that somehow recreates the magic of the original which many have believed to be unachievable. I'd make the rather bold statement that this surpasses the original in every category of film making imaginable.

Thus this movie deserves nothing but an 11/10.

A true Spielberg quality classic.

Im truly astounded by the sheer awesomeness of this movie. The plot being so intricate and having so many layers of quality and intrigue truly is wonderful: it's impossible for me to give a single complaint, considering how much every second of the movie is enjoyable, intense and heart-racing. Truly Jerma's mind is capable of bringing such high quality content, all of it is comparable to the likes of Avengers Endgame, Oppenheimer and even the true peak fiction of Morbius. Nay, it surpasses these. Everything in this movie is so deeply thought out. I must say, the ost is also beautiful. And the plot is truly a heartfelt story of emotion!
