Trivia

The pocket dimension (i.e. "house within a house") that Mr Priest and Ken describe make it bigger on the inside than the outside. Wayne Yip has directed 2 Dirk Gently episodes (including this one). He has also directed 2 Doctor Who (new who) episodes. Douglas Adams who originally wrote the Dirk Gently book series also wrote episodes for Doctor Who (old who). The reference above "bigger on the inside" is a running gag as almost all the companions of Doctor Who have said those words when they step into the Tardis for the first time. Also, Tardis stands for Time And relative Dimentions In Space, something which is apt for Dirk Gently. This all ties Douglas Adams, Wayne Yip together not only with Dirk Gently but also Doctor Who.
