  Henrik Hanssen : [Henrik takes a long time to gather his thoughts and to choose his words, then speaks calmly]  Just over six hours ago, Dr Jasmine Burrows was found suffering massive blood loss as a result of a stabbing injury to her side. She was discovered by an F1 who, despite being caught in bewildering circumstances on his first day here, had the wherewithal to carry Dr Burrows to where medical attention could be given.

  [intercut: Damon tries to wash the blood off his hands, then cries and is comforted by Matteo] 

  Henrik Hanssen : Dr Burrows was taken to theatre, where for the last six hours surgeons have fought valiantly to save her life.

  [intercut: view of Jasmine's heart on a TV screen during open-heart surgery; pulse monitor alerts and flat-lines] 

  Henrik Hanssen : [Henrik pauses]  Twenty minutes ago, that battle was lost. So we are left with a loss that is beyond measure. The loss of colleague and a friend. Now is the time to mourn.
